Il Nest è una casa rustica moderna di nuova costruzione, costruita sul fianco di una montagna. Arroccata in alto con vista a 180 gradi per miglia, la casa è a pochi minuti dal lago di Glenville e dall'incrocio, vicino alle attività ricreative, comoda per lo shopping e la ristorazione, e dista ancora un milione di miglia. Ognuna delle 4 cuccette incorporate ha un comodo piumino, un angolo con una luce e una presa per i loro telefoni o altri dispositivi elettronici. Vi è un'ampia area salotto e una TV a grande schermo montata a parete con lettore DVD e giochi Wii. Il piano sopra ha la sua TV a grande schermo montata a parete, un caminetto con lussuosi mobili da salotto e un tavolo da ping pong, il tutto si apre su un portico avvolgente coperto e la stessa vista spettacolare. Ci sono libri e giochi per tutte le età in tutta la casa.
Il Nest può ospitare 10 persone in 3 camere da letto con bagno interno e una camera a castello con 2 set di letti a castello integrati. Il tavolo da cavalletto per fattoria può ospitare comodamente 10-12 anni. Ogni livello è murato con una vista piena di luce sulle montagne, bella in ogni stagione. Altri servizi includono: pavimento del bagno principale riscaldato, internet ad alta velocità, TV Dish Network con HBO e Netflix, lettore DVD e Wii, lavanderia con livello commerciale, lavatrice / asciugatrice full size.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! Our family stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was lovely! The views from this home are absolutely amazing! There was so much space for all of us. A huge kitchen table for meals for our family, comfortable seating in 2 great living areas, and spacious bedrooms and baths. The kitchen had everything we needed and was terrific to prepare meals in. We all enjoyed the ping pong table too! Communication with Annie was easy with quick responses. An easy drive to great nearby hikes or shopping in Highlands too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this home again!

This house is even prettier than the pictures show, and the views are absolutely amazing! It is a bit removed from both Cashiers and Highlands, but not so far that it’ll keep you from driving in and exploring the towns and the rest of the surrounding area. But you really may not want to leave. Just sitting on the big bed swing on the porch and taking in the view is worth the trip. and if you’d like to cook, the kitchen is great. Also, it boasts plenty of space for a family members to be together, but also have alone time. The house were super welcoming and helpful too! I would definitely rent this house again.

The Nest was all it was represented to be. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing, which was our goal. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Morning tea on the back porch is spectacular.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It's a beautiful house with an open and well-laid out floor plan. The home was spotless and very inviting. The host (Annie) was extremely helpful and responsive, which was very appreciated. The views are spectacular and relaxing and sitting on the back porch and soaking it all in was how I started and ended most days. All-in-all a terrific place to recharge, and we certainly hope to make a return visit.

What a gorgeous mountain home designed with families in mind! It's just north of Cashiers in a secluded mountain neighborhood. Cashiers is a good 15 minutes away just because roads are so windy. We arrived in the driving rain so we didn't get to enjoy the gorgeous porches or views as much as we would have liked. The house was very solid and the fireplace quite cozy as the wind and rain whipped outside. The layout is wonderful, and decor is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked. We had ages 11- 74 and it was a great house for everyone. There are four stories, so make sure you are comfortable doing stairs. Download or print all your information prior to getting to Cashiers as cell service is very spotty in this area. With the wifi at the house we were able to get texts but we couldn't get calls to send or receive. We will definitely be back. I hesitate to recommend only because I don't want everyone else to know how fabulous this house is! :-) The owner is very responsive and gracious.

We truly enjoyed the property. It was perfect for our group. The kids loved the bunk room and the ping pong table. The adults loved the giant porch swing…perfect for enjoying the beautiful Mountain View’s.

We love boating on Lake Glenville, the amazing hiking/waterfalls and just enjoying an escape from our hectic lives. This was our first stay at The Nest and when I walked in, the view literally took my breath away. I can't even capture its beauty in photos, you need to experience it yourself. Every sunrise and sunset lit up the home and my entire family enjoyed every minute of our stay in this gorgeous home. The home has high end finishings, beautiful decor, and 4 floors so everyone can have their private space yet gather together on the main floor and porch for meals and drinks. We want to come back with couple friends to share the beauty of the home and the area. Thank you Annie for opening your home to others to experience. It's a rare find--we've stayed on the lake before but nothing has compared to your beautiful home nestled in the mountains.

Lovely home in great location. Provided with all that was needed for our 5 day stay. Kept the kids comfortable and entertained. Enjoyed the sunrise over the mountains and comfortable porch swing.

Fabulous Home in the woods
Your home was just perfect for our adult vaca. We loved the layout, and how new and clean everything was! Then we stepped outside and the view was absolutely breathtaking! My favorite part of the house was the porch bed swing and I think we took about 100 pictures off the balcony alone! :) The neighborhood is tucked away up a scenic curvy road and was just perfect! I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area! We WILL be back!

Beautiful Mountain Escape
This property was amazing! Beautiful views along with a great location close to cashiers and highlands. The house was VERY clean and more importantly very kid friendly. The kitchen was amazing as well as all the touches and finishes of the house were high end but still made you feel like home. We hope to find an opportunity to come back and soak up the views again!

Views were outstanding- in all weather ! A zen experience sitting on the deck watching the clouds go by. Best rental house we have had. The house is beautiful and done with excellent finishes and materials. Lots of space

Best Vacation Spot in Smoky Mtns
The home is beautifully situated with amazing panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains from porch. It’s so quiet you can hear the hummingbirds zipping in and out from the feeders hanging from back porch. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and unwind, this is the place to visit. The home furnishing and decorating is so well done. Great kitchen. We enjoyed the many hikes to the various waterfalls, and trips to Highland only 30 minutes away. The owners were very communicative. Great Trip!!!

Visit mid-August 2020
The views from the back deck over multiple mountain ranges are just amazing. We did not see better views anywhere. The house is very well equipped and it was easy to settle in quickly and feel at home. The house gets lots of light during the day and it is cosy in the evening. The back deck is really great! The Nespresso machine was also highly appreciated!

The property owner was in touch with all pertinent information. We could not have asked for anything better than her help and the restfulness of the property. In addition to beauty of the dwelling, the surroundings were everything we had hoped for. We plan to return someday.

Breath of Fresh Air
The Nest is a special place! The views from the house are spectacular and then you have the option to climb another 100’ or so to get to the most spectacular mountain sunset east of the Mississippi. The house is very clean and modern, and set the record for the amount of cooking supplies, seasonings and cook wear. Just can’t beat the weather this time of year as well.
Would definitely return. Annie was extremely responsive as well.

Relaxing Break
Our family enjoyed a great break in the mountains near Cashiers and Lake Glenville. Cool nights with shooting stars, great hikes viewing waterfalls and good times on the lake. House was a treat. Spent most of our time on the back porch with the humming birds!

Modern Home in the Mountains
Overall, we had an amazing stay at this property! We had a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) and everyone fit comfortably inside. The kids loved the bunk room on the garden level! However, no one spent much time inside because the views from the back porch were breathtaking. The large swing was a perfect spot for an afternoon nap. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed. We enjoyed cooking every dinner together as a family. The house was close to Cashiers for shopping, restaurants, farmers market and grocery store but also close to trails for hiking, white water rafting and boating! The owners were so kind and easily accessible. You can tell they take such pride in their home and that they too enjoy it with their family. We can’t wait to go back again. Our kids have already asked us to plan a trip back for Thanksgiving!

So blessed on Thanksgiving
As we drove up the long and curvy road to The Nest, I wondered if we were going to be too remote. But, now in retrospect, it couldn’t have been more perfect! As grandparents, we were most interested in making Thanksgiving momentous. And, it was just that. We enjoyed each other like no other trip before. The scenery was beautiful and we got to share a different nature experience with our kids and grandkids. The home was very clean and roomy enough for 8 adults and four children comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook a feast Ajax sit down at the table that was ample in size enough to accommodate our family. The children’s favorite experience was watching the white squirrels in the trees, they really are well known in the area. My favorite was sitting by the fire with my grandchildren drinking hot chocolate. And We appreciated the board games, it proved to be great quality time when it rained on one day. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to make incredible memories.

Amazing Weekend!
We celebrated my Mother’s 75th birthday at this wonderful house! Everything from start to finish was great...reserving the house, communication with the owner and the weekend itself!
The house is extremely well appointed and the layout works so well. The views are truly spectacular...breathtaking really!
It’s a short 13 minute drive into Cashiers where we had lunch at Ugly Dog (highly recommend) and then did a little shopping.
I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at this cabin and hope we have the opportunity to do so again in the near future!

Family getaway
Wonderful home, wonderful time for our family. Amazing mountain and sunrise views! Very peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. Location was ideal for us. Close enough to trials, shops and restaurants. The inside and outside of house very clean and well maintained. It is evident the owners take pride in their home as did previous guests. Different levels allow for privacy when alone time is desired. Played ping pong and the games provided. Our four day stay went by way too fast, thank you for sharing your home. Would definitely rent again.

True Five Star
You know how rating systems have been compromised by too-easily-given five star reviews and too personalized and whiney one or two star reviews? Well, this is a true five star experience. The place is lovely and truly top of the line for vacation homes in the area. The view is astounding. The house is new, decorated to current tastes, and clean, clean. The kitchen is very well stocked. The porch is enough to sooth you for days. And, the owner is an excellent communicator and very, very helpful.
Oh...and the cool air that we went for was balm as were the millions of stars, viewed at height through clear and dark skies. This property is worth your very serious consideration is you are looking for a restful restorative break!

Wonderful spot for family to vacation and enjoy the outdoors! This home is lovely -- super comfortable and well outfitted-- it has the best porch and view in the mountains! Great location for all outdoor activities...hiking, boating, relaxing outdoors.

Wonderful Girls Weekend Retirement Celebration
This is a wonderful home with plenty of room to spread out. Awesome kitchen, very comfortable beds, nice linens and large bathrooms. For us the porch was the best place to spend time together. The swing bed was great and so very relaxing! Home owner shared great instructions to get there. Fun shopping and restaurants within a relatively short drive and the Ingles Is well supplied. Thanks Annie for a special place to share a special time@
