Truly a lovely home with all you need for your family to enjoy their time together (board games, pool table, patio areas, wonderful dining area). The view from the patio to the creek was terrific, but sadly, there was no water in the stream, which was disappointing. I know no one can control that but knowing would have lessoned the disappointment. The day before check-in, I received a text saying the rental agreement had not been signed, I didn't know about it. Called, and the lady told me it was sent three times and gave me the time and date sent; I had already searched inbox, trash, and spam for their company name. Using Gmail, most things make it to my inbox. We tried another email- it worked. So we were set and headed on our getaway. I fell in love with the house instantly. It is close to town, a quiet neighborhood, deer everywhere. That night we began noticing bugs, just a few downstairs, more upstairs. I meant to call the next day but we had a full day. That night the numbers were much higher. I texted the company and sent a pic via email. They did not respond and still haven't. By the third night my son used our shower because there were more than so many bugs in his. Our feet were also black from walking around in the house. Google searched the bugs, they look like click beetles. The house was great but the management company experiences were not. Would rate a 1 if the house wasn't so perfect without factoring the beetles in.

My friends and I stayed here last weekend. Overall, it was very nice. Certain rooms had lovely makeovers, but the home is in need of some outdoor sprucing up. Siding is missing in certain places and it just seemed a tad “worn.” We received notice that the icemaker wasn’t working and that we should stop and pick up ice if we wanted it. I asked the manager to pick it up for us, as that was an amenity we expected, but I was told “they don’t provide that service.” I believe that was actually their job and not a service they were providing. In addition, the home was missing a cork screw, which was very inconvenient at the time we decided to open a bottle of wine. Overall, however, it was a very nice place. It’s a great place to hang out and visit.

The house is less than okay as in cleanness. The upstairs bathroom has bugs in the toilet. Need better cooking NON-STICK pots & pans. House smell like mildew. The outside needs yard work and clean up.

This house was perfect for our family of four (2 teens) to get out of the city for a few days for a relaxing trip. The house was exactly as advertised: a charming house with a lovely location and view by the creek. It's very quiet and we did some reading, splashing in the creek, and the boys loved the pool table and video arcade. It's a short drive to town for shops and restaurants. Many of them are closed Monday-Tuesday. That wasn't an issue for us as we spent most of our time at the house, but other travelers might want to take note. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom, bathroom and living areas were gorgeous. The living areas are completely open and a great place for everyone to be together. The porch out back was great for relaxing in the beautiful weather we had. Check in was easy and management was responsive. We had a lot of fun playing pool and playing the arcade games. We would definitely stay here again. There was no ice in the refrigerator.

Wonderful and warm stay. Great location very close to Wimberly Square. The pool table, fire pit and creek overlook made it hard not to want to stay in the home. Beds were comfortable and clean, bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with more than enough towels and were spacious. Would most certainly stay here again.

The house was great for our group but not completely as advertised. The stairs are very steep, definitely not standard spacing , and the banister is wobbly. We had no hot water for 2 days which was finally resolved by the management company but was a major inconvenience to us. The gas tank was empty which should have been addressed before we arrived and we felt like overall it was a property dispute that as renters we should not have been involved in. This also meant we could not use the fireplaces.

The house and property is a great place for a getaway for a couple's weekend, but also is large enough and would work great for a larger family as well. It was close enough to town but set in a place that felt very private and away from everything. Would definitely recommend staying here. Great new updates to the house as well!!!

A group of five of us middle aged ladies came to Wimberly for a long weekend. We stayed at this lovely property. The creek behind the property was VERY low, so we didn't get to play on the it, but we were still able to go tubing in San Marcos. The location of the house was great. Super close to downtown Wimberly, HEB, Ziplining, Hiking... (but not walkable), but still secluded enough to see the stars. Tons of friendly deer in the area. The house has a Master room that is clearly the nicer room to stay in, so if it's a friends' weekend, that should be worked out in advance. The outdoor area was really nice, and the indoor living area was super spacious. The kitchen was really workable and large. We were all able to fit in there to get food made. It wasn't super well stocked, so you'll need to bring all your spices and things. And a knife and non-stick pan if you're picky about having sharp knives (which I am). Overall it was a great experience and we'd definitely go back again!

This was a great house for our annual girls trip. It was clean, really nice location (5 mins from the action). I know see we’re in a drought but wish we were told the river behind the house was completely dried up and that we would not be able to move down the river due to private property. Other than that, it was great!

This house was absolutely what we were searching for. We were a small group of six adults having a send off weekend for our amazing friend about to move to her next military assignment. The kitchen was perfect for each of us to prepare a themed meal and work together without being in one another's way. There was ample sleeping space for all. The downstairs master suite was exceptional. The outdoors were chock full of space for activities and games and relaxing fireside. The creek access was wonderful. It provided a relaxing afternoon of tubing and cooling off. The location could not have been more ideal. Tucked away for privacy, yet just a stone's throw from HEB and coffee shops. We even took our wagon and walked to HEB and a nearby restaurant/brewery for an afternoon excursion.
Communication with the host was very easy. All questions were answered promptly and friendly.
Overall, this place is ideal and is the perfect spot to make memories with friends and family.
I almost forgot! The arcade games and pool table.... lifesaver! If you have any members of the group who cannot shut down or take out their batteries when everyone else is ready to crash for the night....the arcade games are the best thing ever for them to enjoy solo for however long it takes!

Great House and Location
We really enjoyed staying in this property on Cypress Creek, the house had lots of space and everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and having fun. Would love to return in the warmer weather but it was toasty warm while we were there.

Sometimes the pictures are beautiful, but then you get there and wonder how that picture came from that property. Not here. In person, it looks just like the picture. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. With double ovens, this would be the perfect home for a holiday gathering or family reunion. The master bath is gorgeous, kitchen unbelievable, and back yard…just amazing! The kids loved the pool table and play station, and the dads enjoyed the arcade games. We would love to come stay here again!

Sometimes the pictures are beautiful, but then you get there and wonder how that picture came from that property. Not here. In person, it looks just like the picture. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. With double ovens, this would be the perfect home for a holiday gathering or family reunion. Nice getaway
My family and I booked this rental after our last rental cancelled on formula 1 weekend. The rental was BEAUTIFUL. Looks exactly like the pictures. The only downfall for us was the location. We were expecting it to be in a more populated neighborhood so we were shocked to find out how far out it actually was. Also, the trash from the previous renters was not picked up by the garbage company so we had full bins for our 6 day stay (I believe we came on garbage day but there was no info on when or if renters should move the bins to the street). We did find a tiny scorpion in the house. And the stairs leading to the bedrooms are steep. Other then that we had an amazing time. The property is so beautiful and is perfect if you want to get out of city life for a while.

Location of this house in proximity to the square is awesome. So close to everything. Loved the house. I just wish I knew how many small stairs were actually in the house so I could have better prepared my aunt who had just had knee surgery but other than that very happy with the house. My only real complaint was the road to get to the house is pretty beat up so be careful driving down the alley way

We loved the big open space downstairs with the pool table and video game. Lots of room to hang out and have a good time. The outdoor patio was a lovely place to have morning coffee. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and amenities!

Had a great time. House was perfect. A big tree had blown over right across the whole property entrance to the river and made it a little difficult to get close to and get in river. Very happy with our stay overall.

Amazing Family Vacation Spot
Son graduated college! Decided to stay weekend in Wimberley ! House was immaculate! The floor plan is perfect for fun and table games ! The best part was at night and the fireflies!!! Amazing!

Had a blast!
We enjoyed the house. The open kitchen, gaming and living room space made it so comfortable to play pool, sit around the large dining table and cook dinner. The view of the tree tops in the living room was very serene. Such pretty scenery! The stairs to the top bedrooms are very steep and the pool sticks need tips to the cues. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.
