This is my second time in Amelia island , the first time was in 2018 and our experience was great even though the house was a little outdated it was very well equipped and very clean. This time around I expected a similar experience but it turned out to be quite the opposite. This house has an amazing view, that much is true, the rest however is not . The house was dirty, dusty, smelled musty. The ac was set to heat instead of cold so no air was circulating, we figured that on our own after realizing the house was very hot. The beddings and towels were extremely used up, I had to wash them so they could smell fresh, the color was supposed to be white but they looked gray I guess from being used repeatedly and not properly washed . The kitchen utensils were also kind of used, the knives didn’t cut at all. The toiletries in the bathroom were all used, it looked like they have been left behind by previous guests or the owners themselves. Upon checking out I texted the owner and his reply was simply to return the cleaning fee which after several texts back and forth I did not accept . He though my complaints were small imperfections, seriously ? I forgot to mention one of the bathrooms had a clogged drain that my daughter had to remove a clump of hair with a paper towel so she could finish taking a shower. The pictures on VRBO are definitely taken in such a way that you don’t see how old and dusty the furniture is all through out the house . I have been using VRBO for many years and had never encountered a place like this, such a disappointment !

We love all the space and perfect stay. We had an AC problem and it was fixed same day on a Sunday. Our family enjoys this property every time!

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood—less than 5 min golf cart ride to the beach.. House is laid out well with lots of space for all 9 of us. Any questions were promptly answered by Bill. Thanks for a wonderful week in your lovely home.

This property was perfect for my family! Plenty of room and a bathrooms for everyone. Easy access to the beach and fishing. The book for checkin provided detailed information about restaurants and others things of interests in the surrounding area, which was very helpful. A bonus was the pool table, which the entire family enjoyed. Communicating with the owner was easy. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quiet getaway in a secured convenient location.

Enjoyed our stay at Marsh Creek on Amelia Island Plantation. Golf carts and bikes are convenient and location is great for visiting Walker's Landing and the south end of the island for fishing, crabbing, golf, etc. Bill, the owner, was flexible and accommodating, especially with an early check-in request that was a big favor for a keeping a baby on nap schedule. It was a great week for us!

Great location with nice access to the beach near Omni Resort 2 minutes away. Very clean rooms but missing hand towels and shampoo/hand soap in all bathrooms. Superb amenities with golf cart, grill, pool table, numerous beach supplies, bicycles, and other sporting equipment. Could use some updated furniture on the deck and some better chairs at the dining room table for meals and games. Almost perfect!

The house is wonderful. The deck on the back of the house is a great place to have morning coffee. The golf cart is a easy way to get to the beach. The beds were comfortable. One bed was soft, one firm and the third just right so something for everyone. We didn’t use the twin beds. The furniture was comfortable which is something many rentals do not have. It essentially has 2 master bedrooms so there is only 1 common bath. It has a tons of amenities - pool table, golf carts, bikes, kayaks, golf clubs, grill, etc. At night, keep an eye out for cute armadillos. The host is very nice and responsive. It's a wonderful property.

The Omni restaurants are ridiculously expensive ($29 for avocado toast) so I recommend you venture off property for dinners and make a trip to the market. The beach is close and super easy to get to and the use of the pool club was another added perk. The owners were incredibly responsive to every question and really thought of everything you could need at the house including beach chairs and towels. We will definitely rent here again!

We loved our time here. Great layout and well appointed. Kitchen had all we needed and the grill worked perfectly. Communication with the manager was great. Very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

First time renting through a individual property and was a little concerned... Wow... what a great surprise. The house was 10x more than could have ever asked. The most family accommodating vacation we have ever taken. Cannot wait to go back.

The Amelia Island Plantation is an enchanting and unique place. The natural beauty is refreshing. We enjoyed the bikes and golf carts, and on the rainy days the pool table kept the kids from being bored. Two of the kayaks needed new seats to be usable—this was brought to the homeowners attention. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The owner was courteous and communicated with us appropriately and promptly. He responded to any needs, comments, or questions graciously. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again.

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family very well. The location was great as the wedding was on Plantation grounds. Some of the patio furniture was broken however, and we did have an issue at times with the outside lights in front and back. There were no extra towels, hand towels or washrags in master suite, and with 3 bathrooms we ran out of toilet paper. Harris Teeter grocery close however.

Our family rented this home for a wedding at Walker's Landing on Omni/Amelia Island Plantation property. The house was wonderful, convenient, clean. The property owner was nice and easy to get a hold of. Would rent this property again!
