Lakehouse on the edge of the water near Acadia And Bar Harbor
Sveglia al richiamo dei lunatici e bevi il tuo caffè sul ponte a pochi passi dalle rive del laghetto di Davis. Anche se il suo nome dice "stagno", Davis è in realtà un bellissimo lago di 500 acri. Goditi un ambiente privato con due ettari, rimosso dai vicini, e trascorri giornate nuotando, pescando, kayak, canoa, pedalò o semplicemente leggendo sul prato. Il ponte aperto offre agli ospiti la possibilità di prendere il sole, ammirare le stelle o rilassarsi e godersi la vista. La buca per il fuoco è ottima per i falò di fine giornata e viene fornita legna da ardere! Questa struttura dispone di TV a schermo piatto, giochi e tutto il necessario per la cucina. C'è una griglia a carbone per cucinare. Ci sono due kayak, una canoa e una barca a remi dotata di giubbotti di salvataggio. A soli 15 minuti da Bangor, è facile tutto, dal cibo etnico a un negozio di libri indipendente o al centro commerciale. A meno di un'ora da Bar Harbor, dal parco nazionale di Acadia e dalle attività della costa, questa popolare destinazione diventa una semplice gita di un giorno. Un piccolo castello con un letto a castello è disponibile a un costo aggiuntivo.

This was our second time returning to this property.The pond was beautiful with plenty of space to fish, swim and kayak. Water was very clear for snorkeling. We loved taking the canoe out fishing.We enjoyed the fire pit at night overlooking the pond and listening to the loons.Very peaceful and relaxing, especially for those who love outdoors and nature.We found everything we needed flor cooking and grilling.Ventured out for a few meals at Angler’s in Newport for dinner and breakfast in Bangor at Governor”s.Found our new store, Marden’s Discount Store In Brewer.Make sure you check out Gifford’s Ice Cream in Bangor too.Thanks Amy and John for another great year

We really enjoyed staying here again. The property is very private on the lake and the pictures are pretty representative of the property. We enjoyed kayaking the lake and having campfires at night.

This is my second time here. The setting is gorgeous — and old cabin like house right next to Davis pond. Loons at night, heart warming sunrises and sun sets. House is convenient to Bangor and Acadia National Forest. Comfortable , unpretentious interior.

Beautiful Cottage right on the lake.
Flowers and landscaping were perfect.
Fire pit overlooking the pond, we’re we had lots of fires
and s’mores.

Having our meals at the table inside looking out all the
beautiful windows.
We really enjoyed sitting on deck and on the Adirondack
chairs overlooking the water, especially having our
first cup of coffee in the morning.
The Cottage was well-stocked, we didn’t need
to bring anything.
All linens and towels were provided
Listening to the loons and seeing a lot of bald eagles.
We really enjoyed the canoe, kayaks,
paddle boat and relaxing on the dock.
Enjoyed fishing on the pond, was very relaxing.
I caught 5 fish in the same day. my fishing buddy wasn’t happy lol.
There’s a Great Big Ice Cream Cone on 1A in Holden, which was a great place to enjoy our ice cream outside.
We really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave…
