Another excellent stay at Hamilton House. Lovely hosts and beautifully furnished large rooms. Great breakfast. Will definitely be booking this accommodation again.

Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. All served in a timely friendly way. The location is good for walking into Dumfries for evening dining. The venue has a comprehensive list of places to eat out in Dumfries as well as the usual taxi firms and emergency numbers. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.
The bedrooms are very comfortable and clean.
The weather but you can't blame the host for that! :-) he he. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely big room, comfortable bed, friendly hosts, private parking.
A turbulent night due to someone in the room above pacing up and down (with creaking floorboards) and dropping/knocking things for most of the night until 6:30am - which was when we gave up trying to sleep. Not so much a reflection on the hosts/property, but in honesty our experience wasn’t great.
