loved the place and location. great response from host. we will be back came all the way from CA.

We had a group of 6 adults and 1 toddler. This house has plenty of room, nice decor and very clean. We all enjoyed being able to walk straight out to the beach, as well as being within a mile or two of almost everything we wanted to go do. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here, to anyone looking for a great vacation. The only downfall is if you have trouble with a lot of steps, you may find it hard to get around throughout the house.

Overall a good week at the beach. Lance was responsive when contacted and the property was well stocked with essentials for a week's stay.

Perfect for our small family. Great location on the beach with walking access to restaurants, shopping. Very responsive owner, minor issues were corrected quickly.

This condo has some wonderful advantages, chief among them its convenient location in Surf City and its close proximity to the ocean—just steps away. The interior of the condo was clean and included a well-equipped kitchen. However, we can’t say this property was comparable to other 5-star rated rentals that we have enjoyed in the past. It adequately accommodated the five of us who stayed there, but it would have been much too cramped to handle 12 guests. As it was, we found it very crowded to have the five of us seated at the kitchen table at the same time. The living room furniture was tired and uncomfortable. Outdoor seating was available with plenty of seating. That feature was something we expected to enjoy. Unfortunately, the pigeons decided to take up residence on the top deck. Their droppings had completely covered a table in the corner; we carefully cleaned it off, but that was only a temporary solution as it was soon covered again. The protected steps leading into the condo were also quite dirty from the pigeon droppings.

This was by far one of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed in. Pictures and description are spot on! (There are actually 2 couches so our group of 9 had plenty of room to sit and 4th bedroom actually had a double and twin so all 3 kids fit in there).
This house is literally steps to the beach and so easy to get to everything (if you even want to leave).

Don’t hesitate - it’s perfect - so close to the beach!
This was by far one of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed in. Pictures and description are spot on! (There are actually 2 couches so our group of 9 had plenty of room to sit and 4th bedroom actually had a double and twin so all 3 kids fit in there).

This place is exactly what you want if you're after for an amazing oceanfront view and walk out directly from the house to the beach. Location is great. Very close to restaurants and things to do in Surf City and Top Sail. The house is very nice with the ability to accommodate several people. The owner is also very courteous and communicative. Highly recommend!

The townhome is directly in the beach, wonderful location. Teens could walk into town for ice cream, hamburgers. Enjoyed our stay.

Great home-awesome beachfront
Thoroughly enjoyed this home as our first time in Surf City/Topsail. The beach, location, and updates to the house made this a great experience. Thank you to Lance for being so responsive and helpful. Deck space with furniture is excellent. Addition of another couch in LR will be great for future renters. We had to park 2 full-sized pickups in the tricky corner spot- but it’s fine/doable.
Kitchen has few cabinets for dishes & cooking items- but we found what we needed to cook throughout the week. Pantry is good for all the dried foods/snacks. Loved the huge sink!
*Great location close to all the spots for food and fun in Surf City!!!

Great, quiet place!
Very little traffic, quiet location. if you have large vehicles, parking is a little challenging. Nice place as advertised. Lance was a great and responsive host!

Beautiful Condo, Beach and Location
The condo is modern and well kept on a beautiful section of the beach. It's an unusual location in that you're beachfront but can also walk to Surf City and it's shops and eateries.

Lance was a very attentive host.
Great location on the beach, with local fair.
Although visited a bit early in the season we had a blast roaming the area and visiting places that were open. Great location for beach, bars, food and fishing charters and near military bases if visiting family members serving our country.
Shout out to Reel Cranky Charters and Captain Steven Davis for great fishing trip and wonderful experience.

Family trip
Great location! The views are amazing. Lance is very responsive and helpful. There is a great coffee shop called Surf City coffee a short walk away. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well. The Turtle rescue hospital is just a short drive. It is a great experience and very educational!

STOP!! This is the beach house you want to rent!!
Lance’s property is FANTASTIC! It’s been a four years since we could take a vacation due to some health issues, busy schedules and everyday life. I was wanting a place that sits right on the beach. Somewhere that I could relax and my soul could rest and find peace. I contacted Lance and asked a couple of questions, not only did he respond promptly but he provided additional pictures in answer to some of my questions. He also provided some great places to eat that did not disappoint. Pictures doesn’t do this place justice. I immediately felt right at home! It’s spacious but with a comfy, cozy feel at the same time. The kitchen is well stocked With pots/pans and anything you could possibly need. Unfortunately we had to cut our vacation short due to Hurricane Dorian but I promise you I will rent this home again. Thank you sir for renting your property to us, we will definitely be back!!

Family Vacation in Surf City
This was our first time in Surf City. We had so much fun and loved our location. We loved the small town feel right on the beach.
The property owner, Lance, was wonderful. Not knowing how traffic would be we set out early to Surf City. Check In was at 3pm but we arrived about 1:30pm. We were well aware of our checkin time and knew we were early so Lance gave us some recommendations where to get a good lunch before we checked in. We ended up going to all the restaurants he suggested throughout our week stay!
The property was wonderful. I picked this rental because i wanted to be right on the beach. Step out the door, off the deck and feel my toes in the sand. This place did the trick! It did have some upgrading done to it lately which were really nice. Not everything has been upgraded but I’m sure it’s a work in progress. It was spacious for a family of 5 + friends. Everything worked well and we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

Beautiful Home! Views are awesome! Lance was very quick in responding to any questions we had! Although The parking is very tricky! But that didn't take away from the Great relaxing time we had! It was also Great that your car is under cover when unloading & Packing up if raining! Thanks For having us! Ken & Barb
