Absolutely gorgeous stay, no one on the beach, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

The road to get there isn’t great - so at night it’s easiest on a bike or car. It’s only short though and typical of miss Penida which is less developed for tourists.

Direkter am Meer geht nicht! Superromantisch, nur vier Bungalows. Quietschblaues Wasser, Korallenstücke am Strand, sicher zum baden, nettes kleines Frühstück. Ausflüge gleich hier buchen!

20 Minuten Anmarsch vom Hafen ist nachts etwas abenteuerlich, aber machbar.

This place was excellent. It was place on the sand with with comfortable accommodations, a welcome drink and breakfast for less than $50. You can't beat it.

It was very nice, the only issue is we found peanut shells on the freshly made bed. We think a critter got in while we left the door open. It wasn't a big deal.

Бунгало прямо на берегу моря, есть лежаки, можно загорать и купаться. Вода/пиво в холодильнике по приемлемой цене. Отзывчивый и внимательный персонал.

Вокруг отеля местная деревня и грязь, мусор, много бродячих собак. Чисто только на небольшой территории отеля. Собаки спят на крыльце, ночью гавкают, чешутся, несколько раз находили клещей. Очень скромные и однообразные завтраки, место не для длительного проживания.

For the price the location is incredible you are literally on the beach 🏝️ Only four huts which makes it so peaceful

Getting here first time is confusing as it’s so close to the ferry terminal but you have to walk on the beach and through a local area

The arrival experience was terrible. The hut was amongst dilapidated buildings and piles of junk and rubbish. Down a pretty inaccessible road. Dark. Unsafe for female solo traveller. Run down. Lots of things broken. Dirty bed.

It feels like having a private beach for yourself with only 4 bungalows. The view from the room by the beach is incredible. The location was very convenient, as I was a 15-minute walk from where I took the boat back to Bali. There were also some nearby restaurants. Moreover, they allowed me to check in before the scheduled time. The girls working there were extremely attentive and even served me a juice and water while I waited.

Three points that were not ideal: Firstly, the hot water is almost limited; it used to run out during my 5/7-minute shower. Secondly, the internet doesn't work well, and the Wi-Fi is quite weak, which, on the bright side, helps us forget our phones and enjoy the surroundings more. Thirdly, there was a large dead cockroach stuck in my bed's mosquito net, which was a bit unsettling, but I managed to remove it myself.

De locatie is echt (vonden wij) perfect! Huisje direct aan het strand, mooie plek om naar de zonsondergang te kijken. Personeel was behulpzaam, o.a. bij het verwijderen van kakkerlakken uit het huisje. Iets waar wij van weten dat deze er nou eenmaal kunnen zitten, maar we halen ze liever niet zelf weg.. Van te voren verzocht of we opgehaald konden worden bij de haven omdat we hadden gelezen dat dit niet erg handig is om te lopen met grote koffers. Als je niet met zware koffers reist is de accommodatie op prima loopafstand van de haven. Verder is het fijn dat bij elk huisje eigen bedjes horen, je kan dus altijd lekker op een bedje liggen. Verder zijn er restaurantjes op loopafstand maar is het ook aan te raden om een scooter te huren zodat je verderop naar restaurants kan.

De weg naar de accommodatie toe is niet erg toegankelijk. We hadden een scooter gehuurd en dan moet je 's avonds in het donker via een zandweggetje naar de accommodatie. In principe geen probleem, voor ons was het te doen maar is wel fijn om van te voren te weten.

Santen beach bungalows est très bien placé, à quelques minutes du port. Le personnel est extrêmement agréable et gentil. Situé sur la plage, c’est l’idéal. C’est juste 4 bungalows littéralement les pieds dans le sable.

Manque de frigo dans les chambres , un grand frigo est disponible et accessible à tous mais n’ayant pas eut l’information au checkin nous l’avons su en partant … et faut avoir l’âme aventurière pour y dormir paisiblement car on entend le moindre bruit , petite ou grande bête qui marche au sol , le vent , les vagues , les petits lézards etc etc

Great value for money! There are only 4 bungalows and the beach is right in front of it, so it feels like a private beach. Very comfortable and nice bed!

The location is amazing, the bungalows are so quiet, all you can hear it the waves crashing & the occasional rooster. The owners and staff are lovely, the breakfast was delicious. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve had in Bali. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

It would be nice to have a bar fridge in the room.

It had a rustic charm with Fabius outdoor area right onto the beach with the bonus of well placed tree for shade and stunning views, it’s location and attention to cleanliness of the room and the outdoor area. Great location.

No where to hang a few clothes

You wake up to the sound of waves in the morning. Step out of your door and you are right on the beach. Breakfast options were limited but all delicious. We had french toast and fresh fruit. Facilities/amenities were clean and well kept.

Surrounding area of bungalow is very rustic. Almost step out into part of a family compound with chickens, pigs and dogs around. Found the dogs in the area aggressive and would bark at you and continue to follow you until you got within the fence line. It was quite scary. There are a lot of upright sticks in the beach out front that you cannot see until the tide goes out (part of fishing farm), very dangerous if kids run and jump into the water. Need to be careful or at least see the water when the tides out before getting in. There is no fridge in your room, but we were able to use the hosts fridge. You can only remove your items when they are around.

Very secluded hotel, amazing staff that helped us booking snorkeling scooter massage… . Very comfortable bungalows. Close to the harbor (can walk there).

Greta value for money and location

The staff is great. The view is great and a good location to chill and relax. Also, it's right next to the harbor so super approachable.

Wifi doesn't work properly. The facilities and surroundings are not good. The approach road is dark and there are street dogs everywhere. The rooms are a bit small. Overall not worth the money.

The room alloted had very poor air conditioning The room had very poor lighting ,had to use flash light of torch at night to see When brought in to notice of the care taker --Puta by name and the owner,they bluntly said if you don't like the facilities,you cancel the booking and look some where else,I was really surprised,I went there with my family with small kids in a foreign country , I was not expecting a answer like this,when enquired as to where I can move ,they said ,they don't know and it is up to me to decide,it was really frustrating .I wish I had known this ,before then I would never booked there. No facilities for lunch and dinner ,had to walk to the main road in darkness crossing dark field with no street light, with flash light of mobile phone on. No proper road leading up to the resort. If you are contend with location only minus facilities then you can choose this,other wise there are many other hotels with such beach front location with price less than this

Bed and inside of bungalow were nice.

Do not stay here at all costs. We were travelling on our honeymoon thinking we’d have an idyllic place with direct access to the beach. there are fishing traps etc setup directly in front of huts so can’t actually swim here. The hotel agreed to pick us up from the harbour with our luggage prior to arrival. one person came on a scooter only. He took our luggage one at a time which took about an hour, he took so long that in the end we walked in the blazing Sun to the hotel. On arrival no formal check in, the room was unclean - blood stains on the bed and a filthy gazebo above the bed. The bathroom floor was discoloured (wouldn’t want to go in without footwear), the uncleanliness is one thing but Overall the way we were made to feel made immediately want to leave. Thankfully after contacting booking.com and showing pictures of the conditions we got a full refund and chose to stay elsewhere. Swerve this place!!! This is only time I’ve ever had to write a negative review but hope this can help anyone looking for a decent stay in Nusa Penida.

Walking distance to the port and the centre. Beach view for sunset, private and very quiet place. Good value for what you pay.

There weren't clear instructions/times for breakfast One day we went out at the same time to eat and no one was at reception to ask for breakfast, we had to go without eating.

Absolutely wonderful Location right on the water. The main bedroom area is cozy and more spacious than I expected. It truly is a luxurious hut! Breakfast was wonderful- served on your private patio each day. Oh- and two small dogs on the property made our stay that much more pleasant!

The bathroom needed a little help - and so Little to make it very Comfortable! The bathroom faucet was very hard to turn in and off - it was a bit corroded and it could use to be fixed or replaced. The sink is probably a little too small- it’s really the sink area - a modern shower head and ensuring that the toilet smells fresh and is also modern. So we didn’t like the feel of those things in the bathroom- the tile is lovely- the entire room looks lovely- just a little maintenance in the bathroom would have changed my review to a 10!
