We enjoyed our stay here. The addition feels safe and you don't need to worry about leaving your boat in driveway while driving into town. We like being close to Rogers and boat ramps, this house provides this. We would stay here again. The neighbors next door were awesome too! Enjoyed talking with them.

Met expectations. Outdoor area could been cleaner, but we realize it’s lake property so that is a constant battle.

Very sweet little house: perfect for a two night stay and we were grateful to be able to bring our two small dogs. Pros: it has everything you need for a basic stay. Plenty of room for a family of 4 to spread out if anyone needs some downtime. My 11 and 14 year old kids found the loft to be fantastic! Fridge works great to chill beverages and food. Neighbor came over to greet us and was nice and helpful. Water was hot and plentiful. Beds were comfy and sturdy (non-squeaky). There are window unit ACs and also two mini-split air/heat units that can be controlled by remotes. Otherwise heat appears to be on a per-room basis via heat and fire units (we didn’t use). I didn’t see instructions on those. The downsides: has the feel of staying at grandma’s house. The furnishings and decor are very outdated (think 1980s country chic) and the linens, are worn, mismatched, etc. Pillows are old and flat so consider bringing your own. If you are used to the gray-and-white picturesque-style VRBO rental, this is not for you. Also, some things are just sort of gross: the yellowed fridge with white crust on the door dispenser, the yellowed microwave, the water-stained and warped paneling that needs to be replaced. But consider the price and it’s a reasonable trade off. Also, I have no idea how 10 people could possibly sleep here. I could see 8 max, but more like 6-8 comfortably. We didn’t use the lake access, but it seems that a public access point is down the street. Oh….please fix the two split/rotten porch steps…..I was worried they would break under normal use.

Important, The property manager staff and the cabin owner were very nice people who were accessible and very pleasant when I called for help.
I'm sad to say, when we got to the cabin, there wasn't any instructions on using the heating systems, which could have been dangerous when dealing with gas. The cabin wasn't very clean, in my opinion. The cabin wasn't on the lake, and the lake was not attainable from it. The lake access I was on another persons private property, which was made very clear. I had hoped to be able to walk to the lake to fish and have a campfire with my son. I felt that was misrepresented.
I wanted a more outdoor cabin experience on the lake, but what we experienced was a house in a not so friendly suburban neighborhood where we didn't feel comfortable or safe walking around.
We decided to leave a day early, so I don't think I will be using this cabin again.
Sorry.

House and property was clean. However the air conditioning is window units and it does not keep a consistent temperature throughout the day. The toilet did not flush properly. For the amount charges for the property I think that central air should be available and a reliable toilet.

If you need a place to sleep and dry towels from a long day at Beaver Lake this is a great spot.
No reason to charge 1500 deposit. That’s silly.

It was really difficult for me to rate this property because it didn't meet up to my expectations at all, but Karen and Alison from Beaver Lake Vacation Rentals in Garfield, Arkansas quickly and easily moved us to a property that did. They turned what would of been a not so pleasant stay to a memorable one. Thank You Ladies!!!

Great for a very short stay
This place is inexpensive and we were able to bring our dog. For the money, it's a great value which is why we gave it 4 stars. It was relatively clean, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of dishes, etc. The location is great, and except for the incessant window air conditioner, it's a very quiet neighborhood. There is a "community" grill in the neighbor's yard. He's a very nice guy and helpful. The drive way is very long--great for those who drag a boat along with them!
There is a lake view which is likely spectacular in the winter when the leaves fall. We fell in love with the lake!
A few negative points--sorry. My husband and I stayed at this little place for a few days. Any longer would have been too long. There is no central air (we thought it would have central air from the response from management in a 2014 review). The din of the window unit wore on us after a bit and having the swirling air from fans gets annoying after a bit. It was hard to regulate the room temps.
The kitchen is for one small tush! No dishwasher, but they didn't say there was one. We sorta laughed and called it indoor glamping! The toilet is a nightmare water-use-wise.
I would not trust the banister on the stairs up to the loft if I had little kids!
The manager wasn't able to really tell us where the dock was and the ramps nearby were unusable--the lake is really high right now. She was very responsive to our other questions though. A detailed map for finding the dock (I assumed the place came with a slip or use of a dock) and the ramps would be great.

Vickie from Wichita, KS
This vacation home is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood across the street from Beaver Lake with an easy walk down to the well-maintained boat dock.
A major issue that we had was the poor air conditioning within the home! The house is equipped with window air conditioning units that are inadequate. And, the main bedroom and the downstairs family room have NO air conditioning in them at all. These 2 area of the home were sweltering and extremely uncomfortable. We were very disappointed after being assured by the rental agent that no complaints had ever been received about the A/C. We ended up leaving a day early and do not plan to rent this home again.

We loved this location for our couples trip, but plan to take the kids next. Very accomadating, close to the water. All neighbors were so welcoming. Wayne and his family were great. Made us feel right at home. Perfect vacation neighbors.

Cozy, Comfy, and Clean!
We went down for the Motorcycle Rally this last weekend and had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful house! It was very cute and fit our needs perfectly! 4 adults stayed in the house and it worked out just great. If you are staying in the area, make sure to eat at the Log Cabin restaurant on 12 highway. Get the 4.5 pound pizza! It was recommended by the owners of this house and we were SO glad we went! Best pizza we've ever had! Thank you again to the amazingly friendly owners!!
