Sheikh Mousa Bedouin Camp

There’s something special about Saint Catherine. Staying at this camp was one of the highlights of my trip. It was peaceful, welcoming and had a real sense of community. Mohamed organised everything, from my drivers from Cairo to Saint Catherine and then on to Sharm El Sheikh, to my Mount Sinai guide. He made sure I got to do everything I wanted to, kept communication open and answered all my questions (even the silly ones!). The food was incredible. Breakfast and dinner were prepared fresh each day, and every meal was a 10/10. A special mention to Ferris, who made sure I had fresh coffee ready before heading off on my 1am Mount Sinai hike. Those little things make a difference. I’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Saint Catherine. It’s a chance to slow down and experience a different side of Egypt. Tip: Bring cash for tips and any meals or extras you need to cover.

I was so happy to come back to Sheikh Mousa Bedouin Camp after several years, and if anything, it was even better than I remembered. Some places change over time, but this one has kept all the warmth, authenticity, and special atmosphere that made me fall in love with it in the first place. The owners and staff are some of the kindest people you'll meet. They make you feel like family and genuinely care about their guests. It's the perfect place to slow down, relax, and experience the real spirit of Saint Catherine. If you're visiting the area, look no further. This is a truly special place, and I already know I'll be back again.

We loved everything about this place. The food was excellent, the staff was very helpful, and the rooms and Bedouin tent were very cute and comfortable. We wish we had more time here.

Really there was nothing we didn't like.

Have to choose the room w bath, others are hot and damp. Beds awesome, great to have running water, fine chill out areas.

The owner was promising to organize a trip to the mountains which unfortunately never materialized. Bit pushy but not unfair, the rest of the staff was kind and accommodating.
