We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Very quaint and cozy home!! Stocked with everything you need. Larry was very nice and right next door if we needed anything. Beautiful views from the porch or deck outside the master bedroom. We enjoyed the fireplace on chilly mornings. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay here - amazing views and very comfortable house. We attended our 50th high school reunion near Boston and returning to the lovely lighthouse views made getting old feel a lot better!! We would definitely return.

We loved our stay at the house closest to the lighthouse in Scituate. The views were amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and Larry, the property manager was super nice and available if we needed anything. Loved this property!

We had a great time in Scituate. The kids loved the walk to the lighthouse and the rock wall. The water was a little cold for us to actually swim in, but we enjoyed kayaking. Town was nice to stroll around in and the restaurants were good. Sunsets were spectacular! House needs a little updating, especially holes in the screens and more comfortable sitting area. Kitchen chairs were hard, you sunk into the couches when you sit. But…beds were comfortable. The house was stocked with sheets, towels, and some basic kitchen staples like olive oil, maple syrup etc… Our overall experience was great! We had a great time. Larry was very sweet and reachable if you had questions. I would definitely rent again and stay in the little cottage by the light house!

No need to go to Cape Cod and fight bridge traffic ever again after staying in Scituate Harbor, unless you MUST play mini golf.

We were in town for Boston and this was a great place to destress. Property managers were great offering suggestions and addressing a few concerns. 100% will stay again if ever in the area in the future.

This rental property by far exceeded our expectations: the house was warm, comfortable, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed to feel completely at home. The location is excellent, a few feet away from Scituate lighthouse and right on the bay, which allowed us to enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the dining room table. Scituate has a number of pub-style restaurants and a wonderful coffee-shop called Lucky Finn. During our stay we had the pleasure to meet the property owner, who was very welcoming and ensured that we had a very pleasant stay. As history enthusiasts, the main purpose of our trip was to visit Plymouth, the Mayflower and the village of Patuxet (just 22 miles away) and we were not disappointed! We will probably come back as there is just so much to see in this part of Massachusetts. In the meantime, we will cherish the memories we made in Scituate, MA!

We had a party of 10 and we all unanimously agreed to rent this property next year. This rental is quintessential New England living, the light house being so close was an incredible experience. Larry and Melanie were fantastic hosts and we loved the entire experience.

Great location. It wasn’t until we were actually there that we realized we would have unobstructed ocean views, as well as harbor views.

Location and amenities are as stated. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Yard was a bite smaller then anticipated but couldn’t beat the view. Plenty of parking. Larry next door was just a knock away if anything was needed. Was a great weekend!

Major road construction work commenced 3 days after our arrival. The house is located 1 foot from the road. I’m sure the owner was aware of the impending major road construction, as her father lives on the adjacent side of the rental property wall and is well connected in the Scituate community. BUT the owners choose profit over ethics and did not tell us that road construction would be on going during our entire stay of 4 weeks. 3 days into our rental, the jack hammers started at 6:00 am, construction debri flying everywhere, toxic fumes made outside and inside unbearable. It was constant, piercing loud disruptive equipment, trucks transporting and idling, toxic chemicals spewing everywhere making it super difficult to breathe. There was no reprieve. We left. We had 3 days of no road construction and stayed a terrible 4 days until I got sick from the toxic fumes. The owner refunded us only a pittance and swindled over $4000 and told us we are lucky because she didn’t have to refund us us anything given the cancellation policy. They rented their place when it should have been rented. So don’t be fooled by the American flag picture, you don’t want to do business with them.
