This is hands down our favorite place to spend our vacations. The house is so cute and is super well maintained, it has everything we need, and has unbeatable proximity to the beach. Great communication with the owners as always, but particularly this time when there was a high surf advisory very early in the morning and we weren't sure what to do. Appreciate the responsiveness and helpful information. We had such a great trip, can't wait until next time!

Me, my wife and our dog absolutely loved this place! Great homey feel, fantastic view and a quick walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was lovely, light and comfortable, good amenities. I stayed for a month, worth every penny. The extras were NO Insects, bugs or critters. Privacy without isolation. And the trail to the beach was great, wide enough, no debris or rocks. Bare feet all the way.

We came here for our “mini moon” a few days after our wedding with our dog. It was wonderful! Quiet, clean, beautiful views/location. A perfect getaway from the city! And so lovely to find a place we could bring our dog. 100% would come back!

A very relaxing, quiet cottage on the beach. Had a much needed vacation in this beautiful setting. Stunning sunsets and long walks on the beach with our dog. Cottage was perfect with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We were looking forward to a quiet, relaxing week at the beach cottage with our 2 small dogs (as advertised in every prior review) to get away from the insane fireworks at our home in Montana. Upon arrival on July 1st we learned the only public fireworks location was the stretch of state beach adjacent to the cottage from 9am to 11pm on July 1 to 5 (until midnight on the 4th). The neighbors several doors to the north set off large explosives from morning to night for 5 days straight and all through the night of July 4th until 6am on the 5th. Our dogs were terrified and we barely slept during our 6 night stay.
I mentioned our desire to get away from fireworks upon booking our reservation and I feel this information should have been disclosed.

We spent way too much time not doing anything, and just sitting and listening to the ocean waves. We liked the day bed so much we're buying one ourselves. Honestly, I'd buy the house if I could. It's just so relaxing.
This house is remote enough that there aren't a ton of people around, but you're not far from Westport so there's restaurants and shops just a few minutes away.
As others have mentioned, there's cars on the beach, but not very many of them (at least in May). This isn't like Ocean Shores where it feels like a highway. There's a cute, short trail to the beach, and a bench where you can sit and look down, watching the sunset.
It's just really relaxing. We needed a weekend to get away from the stress of work, and this fit the bill perfectly. We will be back for sure.

This property is wonderful. Great ocean views from the deck. Direct access to the beach. Comfy bed. Perfect size for 2 people. Quiet and peaceful. Well maintained and clean. Would certainly visit again

We rented this home for four days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was just perfect. The home is cozy, clean and well appointed. The views are amazing and we spent a great deal of time walking the beach. It was clamming season and we loved watching people dig for clams. Lucky for us, the weather was gorgeous. We cooked a lot which was made easy with the well kept in the kitchen.
I would say this is not a place for those who can’t handle stairs. The stairs up to the bedroom are somewhat steep so if that poses a problem this might now be the right choice for you.
Definitely a five star rental. The owner is gracious and quick to respond to any questions.

The cabin was all that it claimed to be. A minute walk to a beautiful beach. I was surprised that cars, and lots of them drive on the beach. WIth the sound of the wind and waves, blocking the engine noise, a few came right up behind my dog and me, startiling us. It is so disturbing that such a pristine environment would allow cars! The cabin was everything we needed though. Very clean, except for lots of white, long dog hair on the livingroom carpet (my dog has very short orange fur) and some in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay, except for the cars!

The property was easy to find, very clean and everything we needed. The view of the beach from the house is beautiful and calming. The location is perfect for access to the surrounding attractions. We loved the short path to the beach to walk our dogs and clam dig. Be prepared for stairs. Stairs to the entrance and stairs to the bedroom but well worth the effort. Only suggestion would be some kind of traction on the outside stairs. When wet they are slick.

Loved staying here with our two dogs! Quiet, relatively private, and a nice easy stroll over the dunes to the beach. Really great to crack the windows and hear the waves crashing.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Beautiful, private location with ocean views and a nice trail to the beach. The house and kitchen were fully stocked so just bring some food and essentials. We're returning in February!

The view!!! This was the perfect place for me and the hubby. We loved everything about this place. Steps away from the beach and down a private road with only a few other house near by. Just an amazing slice of PNW heaven. We will be coming back soon.

My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean, cozy, comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the deck was not only breathtaking but relaxing. We were so happy to have found this great get away place and will definitely be back.

The home was spotless with a fully equipped kitchen with cookware for meals from simple to gourmet. There were even dog dishes so the hosts are truly dog friendly. The views are spectacular and the wall of windows facing the beach allow for watching the waves from anywhere in the living and kitchen areas. The view from the bedroom is even better than downstairs and the blinds allow for sleeping in or waking with the sunrise and the screened window allows for listening to the waves for a restful night's sleep. We all enjoyed ourselves and we will be back, the description is spot on and better than described.

We loved this place and wished we had booked for a longer time.
One thing that surprised us the most is how much we liked Westport which was a quick trip away. What a great town and the people were so friendly! Our favorite stop was Merinos Seafood Market.

I have always hoped to find a place like this on the beach! Clean, comfortable cottage, nice trail to the beach, beautiful beach! First time I ever found whole sand dollars! I appreciated the gate at the top of the stairs on the deck so my dogs could enjoy sunning themselves without leashes on. I only have one suggestion for future guests, if you don't like feather pillows bring your own.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for our long weekend trip to the Washington coast. Peter was great to work with and made everything very easy. Enjoyed walking along the beach, which we had almost to ourselves. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a relaxing getaway!

The house was impeccably decorated, very clean and had every item we needed for cooking in or cozying up (extra blankets). The king size bed was super comfy too!. A lot of VRBO properties claim a fully stocked kitchen, meaning they have a few mis-matched pieces of silverware and some random plates leftover from their college dorm…this place had EVERYTHING you need to set an elegant table, perfect for my wife’s birthday dinner! Comfortable large bed upstairs, great seating on the main floor, and best of all: the owner allows dogs. What better way to enjoy the beach than to see your “best friend” run full tilt in absolute joy! Love this place, love the quaintness of Westport, and we will be back.
