Badolina Bungalows

The room was neat and clean, spacious and comfortable for a great beach holiday. Although it’s not directly on the beach, a short one minute walk and you are on the beach and in the ocean! The pool is great, and once the bar/restaurant is up and running, it’s going to be a fantastic spot to relax during low tide! It’s very central and in walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Locating the bungalows first time was quite tricky, Google maps sent us down the wrong streets and we couldn’t see any signage or direction to get there. We had our own car, and after spending a couple more days in Zanzibar, we quickly realised this is the case for most roads on Google maps!

The location was right next to the beach, the rooms were big and very nice area outside. The pool was clean and lovely. Reception was so helpful for recommendations!

Some areas around the property weren’t as safe but the actual property was great

We were greeted by the lovely smiley Fatma. We were very early for check-in, but there is no issue in leaving your bags and heading to the beach to chill at BoBo Beach Bar. (This is where you have breakfast whilst Badolina rebuild their restaurant) The room was lovely, very spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. All the facilities were as described with a terrace with seating. You can have free water refills on request. The grounds of Badolina are lovely, the perfect place to relax. It's kept meticulous. The pool is really pretty and big enough for a cool down. You don't get a view of the beach from the property, but literally 5 seconds walk, you are there. This section of the beach is vibrant and kept us entertained with its vibe for 6 days. We loved it. There is no protected swim area on the beach here, so be careful, but we found some nice snorkelling from the beach about 50m out and 50m to the right of Badolina. This is not the Maldives, but it was OK. Use beach shoes too. The breakfast was really good with the best guacamole! We would 100% book here again, the staff are all wonderful and looked after us when we needed medical help too. We stayed 3 other places in Zanzibar, and this was the best for us.

There is nothing to dislike

Ottima posizione e personale gentilissimo Abbiamo soggiornato al Badolina Bungalows dal 25 agosto al 4 settembre, io, mia moglie e mia figlia, e siamo stati davvero bene. Struttura tranquilla, pulita e a soli 50 metri dal mare. La posizione è ottima, praticamente nel centro di Nungwi: a circa 5 minuti a piedi dai mercatini e dai principali locali. La sera ci siamo mossi tranquillamente a piedi. Il personale è sempre stato gentilissimo, disponibile e attento alle nostre esigenze. Durante il nostro soggiorno il ristorante della struttura era chiuso per ristrutturazione, ma la colazione veniva servita al Bobo Beach, direttamente sulla spiaggia: una soluzione davvero piacevole, che ci ha permesso di iniziare ogni mattina con una splendida vista sul mare. Nel complesso un soggiorno molto piacevole, che consigliamo sicuramente a chi cerca una struttura comoda, tranquilla e vicina al mare.

Se proprio devo dire qualcosa: aggiungere qualche supporto in più per stendere asciugamani e costumi. E migliorare l'illuminazione delle camere.
