This is our second time in Marco Is so we knew what to expect. Did appreciate the beach towels and beach chairs as well as beach buggy. We are used to be short walk to the beach and love every minute of the clean waters and beach. The room was clean on arrival. The AC unit worked beautifully and wasn’t too loud at all—as I have read from others. Didn’t appreciate the fact that there was one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, as well as less than half a roll of paper towels. Also, I booked on VRBO and was quite taken aback when I received paperwork from Harborview Rentals. That’s a bit deceiving—not quite a rental by owner I’d say. And, although stated in the rental agreement, I wasn’t fond of the 3% charge for processing on my visa with each payment. I had no interest in going through a rental agency. The deception wasn’t nice

The property was very well maintained. Condo was clean and had essentials like towels, dishes, cooking tools and pots/pans. Beach chairs, beach wagon and cooler were also available. Condo sits on the 10th floor with a nice view of the ocean. Nice well maintained furniture. Comfortable bed and pillows. Unfortunately there were no blankets, so we had to purchase blankets to use. Worth asking for if you stay there for sure. Condo pool was spacious. Note they do not allow floats, balls, or playing in the pool at all. Additionally, NO food is allowed within the pool area and no drinking is allowed in the pool or pool edge. The walk to the water from the condo is approximately 0.5 miles.. so be prepared to get your steps in. That said, it is a flat walk and not too awful. Building property has a tennis court, pickle ball courts, shuffle board, bocce ball, and a putting green with all equipment. Overall great location with multiple close restaurant choices. Property is gated and all exterior doors are locked. You must have a key or code to get in the building. Restaurants we really enjoyed included Joey's right on Collier for fabulous pizza and pasta. Cocomos offered seafood choices and will cook your fresh catch. Icecream shop across the road is a local favorite. Stan's on the water has all you can eat crablegs on Tues and Thurs for $36!! With live music too. Paradise Found has tons of outdoor seating on the water and live music. Ciao Bella Ristorante Italiano offered excellent, upscale, italian dining with the best cannoli and key lime pie! So many excursion choices too - the Cape Romano tour is a must do..we enjoyed a boat ride to the dome houses and then shelling. Speaking of shells.. we have traveled to many beaches and NEVER have I seen so many seashells as there are on this island! Kayaking eco tour was also great. So peaceful and really an easy paddling experience with the current almost carying you the whole way. Sunset catamaran champagne tour was beautiful. They fully stocked the cooler with more than enough wine, beer and water and the captain was excellent. Miami is ~2hrs away and Naples is a short 15 min drive. Loved the island and will definitely go back!!

This condo was perfect four our family of 5. Close enough to walk to the beach. We particularly liked being on this end of the beach, less crowded…much more our pace. Would 100% recommend and will be back!

Over 65% of light bulbs were not working or missing. Dishwasher does not clean, air conditioner was extremely noisy and new mattresses in second bed room must have cost less than $40 each. So soft that sleeping on them was not possible. Great views. Mitchell

Had a very easy experience in renting. Very thorough packet is given to you at the office that is close to the property. Nice covered parking garage. Access to carts to take things up elevator and to your room. Easily accessible Laundry. Condo had everything we needed. Had to buy groceries and some extra toilet paper and paper towels. About 5 of the lightbulbs were out it we had plenty of light. I’d like to see those tended to because zi like things to look kept up with bu that was the only issue. King sized bed was comfortable. Noise level was reasonable. You are at the best spot if you like to walk both beaches. You are at the beginning of both South Beach and Tigertail. We walked a lot! The pool is very warm! The two bathtubs are very deep which we liked. Good for soaking after a day out walking on the beach. Beautiful views out both sides of Condo. Met lovely neighbor to the South side. Condo front desk was helpful and friendly. You must wear a mask in the building common areas or face a $50 fine. We did see some folks without but most did wear them. There is a security gate that protects the property. You must place a paper tag on dashboard. You can get that at the front desk. Best breakfast place walkable distance is Doreens Cup of Joe! Delicious. A little hard to park in small parking lot there at certain times. Closes at two. Go late and no wait. Would definitely stay here again! Delightful! The beach is wide at this point so if that’s a problem walking for you you may not want that. Not an issue for us since we like to walk. Views are glorious!

The up dates we suggested the year before were done including replacing twin mattresses and cleaning the carpet. You can tell the owner didn’t take pride in their condo. Also, unit was not ocean front it was ocean view. Unit 1005 is very outdated and was a very basic unit that appeared to not have any upgrades. The main TV is still a picture tube and only one of the bedrooms had a tv and it was the size of a laptop screen. The pillows were very stiff and uncomfortable.

Reviewer Comments: We requested a response from the owner multiple times via the rental company but did not receive a single reply concerning the problem of noise construction. The unit next to us was being repaired from hurricane damage replacing windows and literally shaking our unit due to the noise and vibration. We made this concern known to the owner even sent a short video to demonstrate what we were referring to but there was apparently no interest or concern about the matter. Based on my experience you should not expect to have the owner rental company respond to any specific concern that you have. On a more positive note the ocean was good the view was good and the resort area was good unfortunately the care that we received as renters was poor. I Sent multiple emails requesting a response after having not received a reply thinking it was merlely an oversight. In the end it was evident that our being awakened in the early morning with loud power saws and vibration of our walls did not matter to the owner. Not a single effort to reach out to us to help or express concern. I don’t know what tthey will say in response to this review but I can tell you this, they did nothing. If they make an effort to make it right I’ll reconsider my review.
