Vieni a nord con la tua famiglia nei pittoreschi boschi del Minnesota e goditi "Iron Ridge", la nostra casa di tronchi privata, la spiaggia e il molo sulle tranquille rive del lago Wynne. Facile da trovare e più conveniente delle case vacanza in affitto, ci troviamo sulla stessa sponda del lago e ad appena un miglio di distanza dalla stazione sciistica di Giants Ridge e dai rinomati campi da golf di Quarry e Legends. 'Iron Ridge' è una casa su misura costruita con enormi tronchi di pino rosso e situata su un ampio terreno alberato con riva e molo privati. Un ampio garage custodito e un ampio vialetto pavimentato offrono numerosi parcheggi fuoristrada sicuri per tutti i tipi di veicoli, rimorchi o camper.
Il livello principale dispone di una cucina ben attrezzata con tutto il necessario (lavastoviglie, microonde, pentole, frullatore, ecc.). La sala da pranzo (con grande tavolo e isola centrale), il soggiorno con camino in pietra di campo e il ponte coperto avvolgente offrono una splendida vista sul lago. Entrambe le camere da letto di livello principale vantano comodi letti king size e il bagno principale ha una doccia e vasca idromassaggio (idromassaggio). Il divano del soggiorno si estrae in un letto matrimoniale.
Il livello inferiore è il luogo perfetto per intrattenere e divertirsi in famiglia. È dotato di un angolo bar / angolo cottura con lavello, frigorifero, grande bancone / bar con sgabelli e 2 tavoli da pub. Da qui, cammina verso il patio che si affaccia e si trova a pochi passi dal lago. Il patio mette in evidenza una grande vasca idromassaggio all'aperto, mobili da giardino per mangiare, prendere il sole o rilassarsi, grill a gas e dondolo di tronchi. Torna indietro e in fondo al corridoio troverai un bagno completo con doccia, spogliatoio e sauna al cedro. Inoltre in questo corridoio c'è un ripostiglio con lavatrice, asciugatrice e ferro da stiro.
Entrambe le camere da letto al piano inferiore sono dotate di letti a castello: una con 2 letti matrimoniali (a castello pieno) e una con 4 letti singoli (2 letti a castello separati). La camera familiare di livello inferiore è ideale per rilassarsi. Oltre a un secondo camino, questa camera dispone di una grande TV completa di TV satellitare / piatto, XBox 360 e lettore DVD / videoregistratore. Troverai anche libri per tutte le età, giochi da tavolo, giochi XBox e una vasta collezione di DVD. Il divano letto Queen e il futon offrono ulteriori posti letto.

This place is beautiful. The cabin was perfect size, very clean. Had everything we needed and more. Geary was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. The only little thing is the appliances are a bit weak so just prepare when cooking on the stove/oven it is going to take longer than normal. There’s also a heater behind the couch that was running in the summer time but once we found that and turned it off the house temp was great.The whole house was great, it was quiet and peaceful. Hot tub works awesome and the lake is beautiful. We had an incredible time and would definitely recommend this spot!

This was a great getaway place to relax in the northwoods, very quiet with a beautiful lake view from the cabin. We enjoyed the wrap-around deck, and the kids loved riding their ride-on toys (which we brought) on the wide paved driveway. The paved Mesabi Trail is nearby, which was fantastic for biking and walking, even with a stroller. We were grateful for the use of the dishwasher and laundry facilities, and the use of bikes, a pontoon boat, canoe, and a paddleboat. Even though the property is not in town, we were less than ten minutes from a grocery store when needed. There are some cool things to do that are less than an hour away, too, such as the underground mine tour in Tower, MN and the Minnesota Mining Museum and Discovery Center in Chisholm. If you come in the summertime, be sure to bring bug repellent. We were there in early June and got bitten up pretty badly by various flying insects that gave us a lot of itching. If you plan to sleep upstairs, you might want to bring a couple small fans for the bedrooms if the temperature gets hot during the day. The listing says “On the beach” as a highlight, but the shoreline is very rocky (not sandy) and the water depth gets quite deep quickly from the shore to the far edge of the dock, so we wouldn’t recommend it as a swimming place for children. Also note that the water is brown/orange because of the iron prevalence in the area, but the drinking water is good and clear.

The location was great and the hosts were excellent. Close to Giants Ridge and the hosts responded quickly to a few back and forth emails. The cabin was easy to check into and opening and closing instructions were clear. They do a nice job of getting you informed about fun things to do in the area. I had 2 issues with my stay. First, the hot tub was closed for the winter, but it did not mention that in the listing. We had all packed swimsuits in anticipation of a nice hot tub after skiing, only to find out it was closed for the winter. Wouldn’t have been a deal breaker, just would have been nice to know in advance. The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness of the property. It did not appear to have been deep cleaned in between rentals. The sheets and beds were very clean, but the cabinets and carpets had to be wiped down and vacuumed before we felt more comfortable. There was debris visible under the couch, hair in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor and so much dust throughout. It put a damper on an otherwise great property,
