Situato in posizione strategica a tutte le principali attrazioni della costa del Golfo. A soli 20 minuti dal nuovissimo parco divertimenti dell'Alabama (OWA) e dal centro commerciale Tanger. House è vicino al H. L. Aeroporto di uso pubblico Sonny Callahan (di proprietà dell'Autorità aeroportuale di Fairhope), a soli 5 minuti dalla pesca in acqua dolce e salata, a 8 minuti dal campo da golf di Quail Creek, a 30 minuti dalle spiagge di zucchero bianco della Costa del Golfo, a 30 minuti da Mobile, Alabama e meno di un'ora a Pensacola, in Florida. La struttura è adatta alle imbarcazioni e sono disponibili lanci pubblici gratuiti. Golf, mountain bike, trekking, tennis, pesca con acqua dolce e salata, kayak e canottaggio sono tutte attività popolari a Fairhope. L'arredamento comprende un letto queen size, un forno a microonde e una lavatrice / asciugatrice. La struttura dispone di parcheggio fuori strada, ampio pergolato coperto con altalena e posti a sedere in un cortile privato appartato. Se il golf è nella tua lista di cose da fare, ci sono molti campi da golf nelle vicinanze per sfidare le tue abilità. Per chi ama fare shopping, ci sono i negozi caratteristici nel centro di Fairhope. Altre attrazioni sono l'Alabama Coastal Birdfest (ottobre), in autunno, il Mardi Gras (prima della Quaresima) e l'Arts & Crafts Festival (marzo), in primavera. Si trova a breve distanza in auto dai casinò sulla costa del Golfo (Mississippi / Alabama). Fairhope "town square" è una proprietà fronte baia con molo di 1/4 di miglio che si estende su Mobile Bay, nuoto, picnic, giardino di rose paesaggistico, panchine, servizi igienici, marina, ristorante, sentieri e stagno delle anatre ne fanno parte, e è aperto 24 ore e non ci sono tasse. I tramonti sono spettacolari sulle acque della baia.

Unit was super clean, like you could eat off the floors...not a speck of dirt anywhere. We were close to Fairhope, but out of the hustle and bustle. Very quiet and peaceful setting and property. The only thing I would change is a mattress. We are use to memory foam, and it was hard to sleep on the bed for us. Couch and recliner slept great though.

The location was within 10 minutes or so of businesses, grocery stores, etc. Traveling the last few minutes before arriving ‘home’ was so peaceful and serene as I made my way through the beautiful countryside, it was so worth the trip to be out a little away from the congestion of a community. Once there the sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking looking out over the fields. And speaking of fields…right before my stay there came to a close they had just tilled the fields of peanuts and the air had the wonderful smell of peanuts and earth. The sight, the smell and the feel of this place was just so peaceful and grounding for me.The guesthouse was very clean and comfortable and with the added bonus of the private laundry facility it was perfect for a long stay. The landscaping is really nice and can be enjoyed from the porch swing under the private covered porch. The only thing that was not convenient at the property is there is no ‘WIFI’. I had to use my phones ‘hotspot’ in order to use my laptop. Tessie was a great hostess. She gave me privacy yet I always knew I was welcome to enjoy the warmth of a visit with her in her home…which I did on several occasions. My thanks to Tessie for hosting me while on my home search into the area.I would highly recommend ‘The Guesthouse’ if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in the Fairhope area.

Great location in country. Convenient to gulf shore, Foley and Fairhope. Tessie was there to greet us and had supplies to get us started …including fresh eggs for our breakfast in.
