Our stay was very relaxing. The property was amazing, right on the lake. The only things I wish the cabin had were a dishwasher and a TV in the master bedroom. Overall though we would stay here again.

This is a beautiful cabin on the lake with fantastic views and a nice quiet neighborhood. Even though the lake was down a little the dock had very good water depth. There are lots of nice amenities at the house including a picnic table, gas and charcoal grills, a hammock, canoe and kayak. There are plenty of chairs outside and a fire pit. The gas fireplace was great and easy to use. The TV had tons of channels. We enjoyed our time, wish it could have been longer. Will hopefully return.

Had a great time at the cabin. View at lake was amazing. Loved relaxing in the hammock listening to the water. Great communication with owner. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was perfect, on the water, quiet and peaceful. The family enjoyed the kayak and row boat. Thanks for allowing us the use of your wonderful cabin.

It was a very nice cabin. We enjoyed our stay. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate. The deck was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing all the animals that came to visit. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice cabin would go again

We spent pre-memorial day weekend with a couple of friends in this house. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and a rental boat tour at a nearby local place during our stay. The homeowners Bill and Amy great. They are responsive and everything was as they described.
I would love to rent this house for another reunion with my bodies soon.

Overall we had a great time. Weather didn’t agree but that happens. TV was broke but we bought one. Location was great, would definitely rent again

Cabin was nice, had a list of things to make sure was done when we left. Only ding was for propane grill that gas was left on so empty when we tried to use it and grease at bottom. Used charcoal grill instead.

Excellent location being lake front with a dock. There are a lot of properties off the lake without access. Great view of the lake from the cabin.
Nice ammenites with a canoe and row boat available. Nice fire pit.
The cabin is older and small. Good for 2 couples or a family with smaller children. One small bathroom.
You have to bring your own bedding and towels. There is a small washer/dryer but want limited use due to septic tank.
Process is different from most Vrbo rentals. The owner will send a lease agreeement that you have to sign and then will get a key in the mail which you send back to them as the owner is in Florida. It is nice to deal directly with the owner and not a service company.
We were there in March with docks out of the water and colder. Would like to go back in warm weather and would go here again.

Cozy house right on the lake. Great windows for lake views and, if the weather is good, plenty of outside spaces to enjoy. Neighborhood very quiet when we stayed (March) so it was a peaceful, relaxing weekend. Lots of great restaurants in the area, but also has a nice kitchen if you want to cook. Bring quarters for parking if you're going into Hawley or Honesdale!

The cabin was very clean and welcoming. We had a great time sitting at the table in the evening, playing Monopoly. The view of the lake is beautiful. We ate at Drafts and Joe and Lorenzo’s. Both were very good and a short drive. My boys were too tall to sleep in the loft, but the loft is perfect for younger children. Overall, it was a great trip and we loved the cabin.

This place is absolutely charming. Very well kept with the rustic feel and a view of the lake, second to none! Owners were very responsive and generous. We did NOT want to leave! We highly recommend this property for the perfect getaway! 5 stars!

I rented this place for my sisters birthday surprise. We vacationed at Lake Wallenpaupack as children and haven’t been there in years. We really enjoyed our stay. This lakefront property was great, even though it was too cold to enjoy the amenities (kayak, rowboat and dock). We were convenient to all the activities we wanted to do. I can’t wait to go back for a week in the summer months.

No issues in renting, the cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We arrived on Sunday left Wednesday morning and it either rained or drizzled almost the entire time. So we spent quite a bit of time in the cabin and on the deck. The only drawback was the TV and the limited channels. The bathroom was a bit tight but other than that we had a good experience considering the poor weather. We would go back, and hopefully get to experience it with the sun out! 🙂

The cabin was just wonderful, the location was perfect, and you couldn't have better hosts! We so enjoyed our stay! The cabin with it's cozy fireplace, the view of the lake, the wildlife, daily walks by the lake... The property is such a wonderful and charming place that harkens back to the days of the original cabins that once lined Lake Wallenpaupack. The lake side location and views are wonderful with a large deck overlooking the lake. Perfect location for campfires and chipmunk watching! The cabin is very well kept and clean. A perfect getaway! We cannot wait to return!

Cute and Cozy Cabin on the lake. Quaint comfort indoors, excellent scenery outdoors. During the week it was SILENT almost all day save the sounds of waves lapping the shore and acorns falling from the trees . Bathroom was a little tight for a big guy but very functional. Water got hot fast and the appliances were pretty new. The television offering was sparse but adequate, when you're in a place like that you shouldn't be watching tv anyway . There was a rowboat and 2 person kayak offered and we had loads of fun in the kayak. The fire pit was large and well build. We spent hours watching the fire and roasted marshmallows.
The time we spent there was terrific.
I had the occasion to be rocked to sleep on a warm sunny afternoon sitting in my chair on the dock. Yes, it was that relaxing !!

Great place to bring the boat and get some fishing in. Beautiful cabin to catch up with some friends and everything was convenient. Definitely coming back.

This charming and comfortable log cabin style home is situated right on the lake with its own dock. We ate dinner on the deck overlooking the water, cooked on the grill and enjoyed an evening campfire. When the evening chilled we lit the fireplace in the living room. During the day we sailed, swam from the dock and did some local exploration. It was the perfect spot for us to relax completely.

Great view & cabin get away!
Great cabin for a weekend get away. Lovely view of the lake, and lots of wildlife when we were there!(baby deer and chipmunks!)
