We really enjoyed our stay at the Dog House. The cabin was in a very quiet, relaxing area. The hot tub was an added bonus and enjoyed sitting in it at night. The house was a just what we wanted.

We stayed at the Dog House in November for a GIRLS TRIP to Dollywood. It was great. Very quiet & peaceful. We would stay here again!!

Our long weekend stay was beyond perfect. This cabin has everything to make you feel at home and comfortable. The owner of the cabin is very reachable and super nice. They have board games, dvds, TVs in both bedrooms, a huge fireplace, and many other amenities. We can not wait to go back!

This cabin felt like home away from home. Clean, spacious, and pet friendly! This was the perfect way to spend our wedding anniversary! We only had neighbors 1 night and it was super quiet otherwise. We didn’t get to use the lake or pool because boat rentals and pool closed for the season. Washer and dryer, hot tub, and deck were amazing!

Amazing value in this property. Perfectly maintained and clean. Great amenities with hot tub, wrap around porch, ring game and outdoor dining. Excess to resort amenities like pool and lake excess with boat launch.

Enjoyed your cabin! It was great to get away for a while. The cabin was great , a good ways from everyone and everything! NICE! Enjoyed my early morning walks with our little dog Jasper! This cabin has everything you need to have a great getaway! You won’t go wrong by booking this small getaway in the mountains!!

Nice place to stay. I did not pay attention to how far it was from activities, but it was nice to be away from all the traffic in town.

All I can say is ….. WOW! Pictures does not do this beautiful cabin justice! Our stay was awesome! Great communication with hosts, easy check-in, kitchen equipped with everything you would need and the gift mugs were a great touch! Especially enjoyed the hot tub after long days exploring and shopping. Very peaceful and secluded location! VERY pet friendly which was very much appreciated!! We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Thank you for allowing us to reschedule our winter vacation for a summer vacation due to our boys being sick! Our stay here was amazing. We have a 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old boys and two dogs now and they all had a blast at the cabin. It’s about 25min from downtown pigeon forge and 15min or so from the store so it is a cool tucked away community but also close enough not to feel like another 15hour trip like we took to get there. They have all of the utensils you could need and even dog bowls and leashes. It is a single story with two bedrooms and two bathroom with one having its own bathroom and the other having a door to the main bathroom. The WiFi wasn’t all that great and I wish there was a streaming device to complement the tv but luckily the cable channels had everything our boys needed during our morning and night down time. Hot tub was a blast (heads up, switch the breaker on). One thing that was a bit uneasy for us was the Ring cameras. There is a doorbell camera and then a separate camera on the other side that just makes you feel as if things aren’t as private as you wish while on vacation. The pups loved having a wrap around porch that was completely closed off so they could walk around outside with us. The charcoal grill and picnic table added to the mountain atmosphere that we were really looking for. Cooking hot dogs and s’mores over it really complemented our time there. Overall it was a blast and look forward to rebooking again!!

My new husband and I loved our stay here! The hot tub was just as lovely as the morning views on the porch! The kitchen was well equipped and Debbie was very helpful with any questions we had! We hope to return!

My husband and I loved our stay! The Cabin is amazing - stocked with everything you may need. Kitchen pans and utensils were in great shape. Loved the L shaped deck with gates! Kept dogs safe and secure. We haven’t cooked on a charcoal grill in years. Yummy. The whole cabin was clean and ready for our arrival. Loved our mugs and popcorn. Our dogs were comfortable and felt at home. The owner even provided leashes and dog poop bags! Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely stay at the Dog House in the Smokies. It has a great view from the deck, the resort was quiet; yet, family friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and lake. Lake Douglas was very clean. It is a 30+ min drive to town, but it was nice to be away from the busyness. The cabin had everything we needed, including dog poop bags. Since it’s in the woods and they allow dogs it does get pretty dusty and needs a little more of a deep cleaning, but all the appliances were spotless, which we really appreciated! Our pup had a great time in TN! Debbie was very responsive to our needs and was a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The hot tub was a great way to relax at a long day of exploring the area. We would definitely rent this place again if and when we come back to the area!

We thought we were going to be on the lake we could not even see the lake from this property we did enjoy the peace and quiet

We brought our boat and inflatable stand up paddle boards to enjoy the lake with our pups and also went to downtown Gatlinburg to a couple moonshine distilleries and a restaurant that were dog friendly! We also did the one dog friendly hike in the park and then rented UTVs in Pigeon Forge which was also dog friendly we had a blast being able to see all the sights and have our boys be able to be with us the whole time!
