This cabin was absolutely perfect for a quick weekend getaway! It is only a short drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and only 30 minutes on that road to take you right into downtown Asheville.
We made sure to spend some time enjoying the cabin itself, and it was the best place we could have chosen. Debbie, the property manager, was quick and helpful when we had a question about the property during our stay so thank you!
If we make it to Asheville again in the future, we would definitely book this place again!

It is a real log cabin with all the modern conveniences. Nicely decorated, good WI-FI service, cable TV, comfortable bed, land line phone, no cell phone service, but after I logged my cell phone with the WI-FI I could get text messages. Love our stay.

Very comfortable and cozy. We loved preparing our own meals in the kitchen with fully stocked kitchenware. The master bed was a bit too soft for us, we slept in the loft on the twin beds. The cabin was clean on a lovely piece of property. We would stay again.

This house is the best! A real log cabin! It is quaint, sparkling clean, beautiful furniture, an outside deck with a grill, a front screened in porch, huge fireplace, and a wonderful kitchen that has everything. If we are ever in the Asheville area again we will stay here.

The Chestnut Rustic Cabin is one of our happy places. Beautiful area with lots of outdoor activities and easy access to Asheville and all it has to offer. Property manager is nearby and goes the extra mile to make your visit special.

Cute, clean, no-frills cabin that was just right for us. Comfy and charming inside, with large screen porch plus an outdoor grilling deck. Perfectly situated for visits to Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville, as well as hiking, waterfalls and whitewater rafting trip from Asheville. Property manager was next door and left a card and balloons for my and my daughter’s birthdays, which was a nice personal touch. We had a very busy trip with a lot of activities, and the cabin was the perfect place to sit back, relax and recharge together.

We have stayed in this cabin many times over the years and love it. It is an authentic log cabin. It is nothing fancy but it is so cozy. It has a wonderful large screened in porch and also another porch with rockers. It sits right at the foot of the mountain and you are minutes from the parkway.

We loved staying in this cabin. It was so clean and felt like home. We were disappointed that there was a neighbor so close next door. This wasn't stated when we booked the listing. We were hoping for something more secluded. But overall the cabin was very nice.

This was a lovely place! We loved the cuteness of the cabin decorations, the large kitchen and living room, the outdoor porch. The location is amazing, so close to the blue ridge parkway.

Beautiful quaint cabin nestled up to a large creek in the backyard. Wonderful amenities; the gas fireplace was perfect for the chilly mountain nights. :-)

We stayed at Chestnut Cabin for 6 weeks and had a wonderful time. Loved the proximity to hiking and waterfalls. Far enough from the city to relax in total peace and quiet, but groceries only 15 minutes away. The provided Internet was good and we had no trouble finding a clear spot for Starlink. Friendly and helpful neighbors.
We loved that the owners live right next door and are available via phone if needed. Twice while getting settled in we had questions, and they were quick to help out. We were there over the holidays, and they even decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is well-stocked and the gas fireplace made for cozy times on even the coldest of single-digit days.
The porch quickly became our favorite spot, even in the freezing temperatures, we were able to hang out outdoors. We loved the cabin and plan to visit again!

My girlfriend loved the cabin when we saw it online. When we got there we weren't disappointed. It was exactly, or better, than we thought. It was clean, cozy, in the mountains, and decorated so warmly you couldn't help but fall in love with it. Quiet and peaceful but just 15 minutes from Asheville and some very cool mountain trails. I would recommend it whole heartedly. Bill

This property was wonderful! The owners are nearby which was very assuring since we were from out of town. This cabin is cute and comfy. They’ve provided everything you need which was so helpful when packing. It’s location is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to drive down for brunch. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get some peace and quiet.

Our stay was so incredibly lovely. The cabin was clean and beautiful. My partner and I loved all the bear decorations (our favorite animal) and everything worked like a charm. Wanda’s family was so nice to us when we woke up to a popped tire and treated us like family. They offered to help and made sure we were ok. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and will definitely stay again!

Nice, quaint cabin - just large enough for the four of us to enjoy on our four day trip to the Asheville area! Nice little 1.6 mile trek up and down the road for my early morning walk too!

Very cozy cabin. Loved the screen porch. Comfortable bed well equipped kitchen lots of privacy. Would have enjoyed fire pit & grill area but were only here for a couple days. Best is the location. So peaceful! Only 4 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway with fantastic hiking! Great value!

We had a great weekend in the mountains!! This place is just outside of Asheville and not too far from some major interstates and highways for quick access to other NC mountain attractions. The place was really cozy and clean...wish it had been a little cooler so we could have taken advantage of the fireplace and outside firepits. Covered patio is a sweet bonus as you can here the creek behind the cabin from the comfort. Will definitely be back.
