All we required for a cup of tea/coffee were available. we were spoilt for items to eat at breakfast the cottage was very clean ans tidy.

As an eldery gent I found the chairs could benefit from some cushions. Seating wasn't very comfortable

Great location with a good secure garden for our dog. The property was well presented and comfortable. John and Kate provided us with a generous supply of breakfast items along with tea and coffee and biscuits. They were much appreciated.

Nothing

Great layout Spacious rooms Well equipped Lovely views

Lighting - harsh non-dimmable central lights, no side lights, even in bedroom. Shower floor very high from the bathroom floor (even with the step provided) and tricky to get into/out of (but there's plenty of space in the bathroom to make it into a wet room). Nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries etc - a small freestanding tower of rattan drawers (maybe just 3 drawers high) would be good. No toilet roll holder (a freestanding one would be good so you don't have to juggle the loo roll!) The broom needs replacing - only 2" left on the bristles. We were only there for 4 nights, but if we'd stayed longer there isn't anywhere to store food in tins, packets etc. The salt wouldn't come out of the salt cellar (trivial I know, but presumably it's old/damp) and the ground pepper was dry too (old?) We felt we were dicing with death when driving out onto the main road! Suggest a convex driving/safety mirror should be installed.

The garden was very secure for our dog which was great and the property was clean. Lovely welcome food pack ECT on arrival. The host was very friendly and nice

I don't like writing this but it was all very tired and worn
