EVERYTHING! Without doubt the best hotel I have stayed at. Ever. The location, the view, the room layout, quality of fittings and finishes, the bed and bed linen were all top notch. Excellent breakfast was served in a cave room. The hosts Paula and Francesco were charming and could not have been more helpful. 12 out of 10 all round.

Aque Cave is a truly special place that we will recommend to everyone and would happily return to.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful, and every detail of the place felt carefully thought through. Everything was spotless, beautifully scented and exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed. The breakfast was wonderful too.
We honestly couldn’t fault a thing. We only wished we had stayed longer than one night! If we ever return to Matera, we will definitely stay here again.
