Ubicato in Ocracoke Island, questo affascinante cottage a 181 € per notte è un fantastico opzione per il tuo prossimoviaggio. Questo cottage rinnovato di recente ha una splendida veranda per godersi seduti fuori e rilassarsi. È stato rinnovato nel 2018 e nel 2019 è stata aggiunta una seconda camera. Si tratta di una camera da letto con due camere da letto (matrimoniale nella camera principale e letti a castello nell'altra) NON forniamo lenzuola, un bagno, piano piano aperto con soggiorno e cucina. La cucina è molto semplice, se stai cercando di cucinare pasti gourmet, questo NON è il posto per te. Ocracoke ha molti ristoranti meravigliosi. La posizione è a poca distanza a piedi da Silver Lake e dai negozi e ristoranti e sputa distanza dal British Cemetery. La spiaggia è a un miglio dal noleggio. C'è una Smart TV nella prima camera da letto e soggiorno con internet e via cavo. Avrai bisogno del tuo account Netflix, Hulu o Amazon, e per quelli che non sono esperti di tecnologia, abbiamo il cavo. Noi NON pubblichiamo su Craigslist, quindi se lo vedi lì non siamo noi a noleggiarlo. Passiamo solo attraverso VRBO / Home Away.

The house was perfect for a weekend getaway!

This was our first time staying on the island and we were there for a family event. The Buccaneer was the perfect size for 2 - 4 people. We rented their golf cart to get around the island and had a great time driving around. We also were lucky with the weather and got 3 great beach days.
I knew going down there was not a full kitchen. The convection stove was difficult to cook on and there is no oven / dishwasher.
If being able to cook is important to you be aware of these difficulties. Otherwise it was fine.

Ellen and Russ were fantastic and super friendly! The location of this cottage could not be beat. It is within walking distance of everything in the village. The cottage had everything we needed for our week-long stay and was nicer than the pictures give credit to.

Perfect for my husband and myself! Clean, nice kitchen, quiet, and I loved the outdoor shower! Perfect for two, or a family, as we never even used the extra bedroom.

Overall my wife and I love this place, it’s clean and cozy. If you’re use to a 3000 sq. ft. place, this is not for you, but if you want cozy & intimate, this is it. It was our 2nd stay, and it will likely not be the last. I would give 5 stars but my only complaint is the AC. I know not everyone needs or uses air, but I feel the window units are just not powerful enough. It was fine in the bedroom if you shut the door though. The outdoor shower is great and private and the owners are very good at responding to messages.

We were so pleased with The Buccaneer. This was our first time traveling to the OBX so we weren't sure what to expect. The house had everything we need (bring your own sheets and towels!) and was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 2 children). The outdoor shower was so handy for beach days. The location was great for being close to all things in the village, and the golf cart rental was great. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. I'd recommend this spot to anyone! Not a single negative experience, not even bugs!

We had the best vacation on Ocracoke. The rental was updated and clean. We had all we needed and there was plenty of space. Our girls loved having their own room (very spacious too.). The porches were great, giving us plenty of room to lay our shells and beach toys to dry. We didn’t need to cook much so the kitchen provided everything we needed. Although this unit is close to the road, we heard no noise at night. We felt safe and my daughters even played in the front (side) yard while we watched from the porch. I highly recommend staying here. The owners were so helpful and very friendly.

This rental has a great location on Ocracoke and is an easy walk to many great restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shops, etc.
There are three separate air conditioners which helps please all for different sleeping temps. Full size frig and enough to cook some small meals. No dishwasher or washer/dryer is about the only thing missing but didn't bother us.
Favorite feature is the front porch. Might have missed it or maybe its hard to see in the photos online but there's a covered porch with 4 high top seats and table. We played dominos and poker at night. Just bring bug spray, same as anywhere on Ockracoke.

We enjoyed our stay and especially the outdoor shower and on property golf cart rental. The owners were very friendly and this was the perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 toddlers). We can’t wait to stay again!

The property is clean, and well looked after, had everything we needed, is conveniently located, has a out door shower and a golf cart to rent which was very nice and the owner left clear and helpful notes in the propertyand labled things well. The only thing I can think to add that would be really nice is if the porch was screened in, the bugs made it hard to enjoy the deck but other than that we loved it and plan to rent this property again.

The facility was just as described. Very clean, comfortable, cable tv, internet, dishes, utensils, large fridge, microwave. Great communications from owners. Great locations, minutes from everything and walking distance. Would Stay again!!

We love staying here. It’s close to everything, you can walk over to get ice cream, or down to the ferry. The house has everything we need and now also has golf carts to rent at much cheaper prices than the rental companies. Ellen is a great host and we love getting to visit with her.

This is our fourth year in a row coming to ocracoke this time of year and our stay at the buckaneer this year was very comfortable. They’ve made some changes since the photos were taken and i found the place to be bigger than I expected. The hosts were nice and responsive. They have very a very affordable golf cart available for rent. I will say the bathroom and bedrooms can be very dark, if you wear even a little make up, I’d bring a lighted mirror. The water pressure also left a bit to be desired, but those two critiques are small potatoes. The value is great, perfect location, and comfortable.

This cottage was great! Updated and very clean. The hosts were very responsive. The area outside is a little noisy, but with the bedrooms in the back of the house, it didn't affect our sleep. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute place! Has all amenities, and a few extras. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Front porch is wonderful, comfy chairs, sunshine in the morning with our coffee. It was perfect for our getaway!

This property was perfect for our needs. We are always on the move at Ocracoke. The location of the house was perfect to quickly drop the truck and hit the bikes for a meal or drinks out. The home is pet friendly, so our fur baby was able to join us on the adventure. We met the owner and they were beyond accommodating and friendly. I would definitely rent this home again.

This is a very centrally located property only a few hundred yards from the Harbour.
The property itself is everything you need in this quaint location.

First & foremost the owners are top notch, excellent communication and very friendly. My wife & I celebrated our anniversary and it was amazing. The cottage was clean and just the right size. Perfect location, easily accessible to shops and food. I really have no complaints other than I wish the house had a small stove, it did have a induction cooktop but I had no idea how to use it so we ate out every day, my wife was NOT upset about that. Thanks for the memories of a life time.

A cute little cottage, all that we needed. We weren't going to be cooking so no problem there, though it wouldn't be impossible for a couple. It was located by the fascinating British Cemetery and easy to get around the village on foot and explore. It was quiet
though I wonder with vacation RVs across the lane if it would be during the very busy season. It was super affordable BIG plus. The porch was our favorite part especially when it rained in the evening and the "tin" roof. Lovely in the morning with sun rising up over the trees and doves cooing. Only tiny drawback is you can't open windows because there are no screens. Would have been nice to let the breeze in but other folks probably don't even notice. Would definitely come again!

I stay in VRBO's and Air B&B's frequently this was the first one that you were required to bring on linens and bath towels. It must have said it in the listing but we missed it? The owners were kind enough to bring us some bath towels and we were able to purchase linens.

We were so pleased with everything. Loved that we could walk to lots of stuff, but it was quiet. And there was a golf cart on site that we could rent just by calling Russ! We found that the place was even better than we expected - for example, lovely table & chairs on the covered front porch, which we enjoyed when eating take-out during a rainstorm! We'll be back!

Perfect cottage for myself, husband, 8 year old son and our dog. Everything was clean, rooms were spacious and living/kitchen area was great! Option of renting a golf cart from the owners was also a very pleasant surprise, and owners were very responsive to questions. Very very happy that we found this place. Already booked for next year and can't wait to return!!

We have stayed in other properties owned by the owners but this was our first time staying in this one and it won’t be our last! To have a place so close to everything and also be so quiet is phenomenal. Our 2 dogs loved it as did our 1 year old. The layout is perfect for 1-2 kids and the A/C’s kept us nice and cold! Kitchen has everything you would need and the outdoor shower is perfect for getting the sand off of you and your pets! Can’t wait to be back next summer!

We stayed three nights and were out and about most of the time, but looked forward to coming “home” at the end of the day. We had two very small maintenance issues upon arrival and they were taken care of within the hour - super responsive! House could use a good deep cleaning, dusty vents and trim work, but everything else was very clean - beds, floors, surfaces and dishes. We loved hanging out on the front porch and the outdoor shower was a great bonus for sandy kids. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Buccaneer! We appreciated being able to take our 2 small dogs with us. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The location is convenient for walking or riding bikes to restaurants and stores.

Our second stay
This was our second July 4th stay at The Buccaneer and won't be the last. Everything from my last year's review still applies. But beyond that, if nothing else tells you the overall satisfaction of a customer, it's when a customer returns (and takes time to write about it).
