Benvenuti a Majestic Mountain House!
Curiosità su questa casa: La Majestic Mountain Haus è stata originariamente costruita nel 1971 utilizzando legno e travi da una delle più antiche chiese nella Contea di Rowan, nella Carolina del Nord; che è stato smantellato nei primi anni '70. Il bar al piano di sotto era la biglietteria originale nella stazione ferroviaria del Best Friend of Charleston alimentato a vapore, che fu il primo treno locomotivo costruito negli Stati Uniti e che ebbe la sua corsa inaugurale nel 1830!
*** Majestic Mountain Haus non ha l'aria condizionata. (Goditi le fresche brezze di montagna sopra i 4000 piedi di altezza.)
***** C'è spazio per parcheggiare solo 2 auto. Non piu. Parcheggio supplementare è possibile di fronte al municipio di Town of Beech Mountain.
Questo lodge offre sia nuovi comfort e servizi che elementi e decorazioni originali / pre-originali che insieme offrono un'esperienza di vacanza in montagna unica e affascinante per gruppi fino a 19 persone in una proprietà boschiva di alta quota con vista sulle montagne tutto l'anno, una buca per il fuoco a legna all'aperto, e esattamente un miglio alle piste di Ski Beech, la pista di pattinaggio sul ghiaccio e la collina per slittini! Anche il rivestimento della montagna è costituito da innumerevoli sentieri per passeggiate ed escursioni, sia segnalati che non segnalati, oltre a numerosi fiumi, torrenti, laghi e corsi d'acqua. We had an amazing time! The house is so spread out and well equipped for a family vacation. Every person felt like they had exactly what they needed to get the most out of their vacation. We easily cooked for for all 18 guests with no problems or shortage of dishes (we did have to buy our own all purpose and bleach cleaners, there was nothing at the house). The house was clean when we arrived with extra blankets in each room.Everyone felt like they had space to retreat if all they wanted to do was relax. We spent multiple nights around the firepit after skiing all day (we had to buy an axe to cut our own wood, but it was so worth it!) The downstairs area was our absolute favorite. The 200 year old table that used to be a train station ticket counter is absolutely stunning!! We spent almost all of our time down here playing board games, video games, basketball tournaments, and hot tubbing on the back porch. Our ages ranged from 6 to 82, but everyone had everything they needed. We are already looking for the next time we can book again. Highly recommend!!

Great property, enjoyed reunion at Lees McRae. One neighbor does get up at 5 am for work, asked for quiet time on Wednesday. Went over and met him on Thursday. No problems afterwards. Very nice, just gets up early.We went indoors around 10 pm.Great house for 14 people.

First impression is great. Online content leaves you wondering what exactly to pack based on reviews without answer and no updates to content following any updates to the property. All the dishes were gross and needing cleaning. Towels were not placed in rooms and we finally found them still in the dryer. Floors have not been well cleaned in a very long time. There was a thick accumulation of dirt in corners and some bathrooms had hair in the showers from previous guests. Oven badly needs cleaning. Microwave door is falling and has trouble keeping contact. One of the dining chair seats is not secure and seriously injured my mom’s hand when she tried to scoot up to the table. On of the bar stools downstairs is unstable and unsafe. My husband went to sit in it and it fell over hitting my 1 year old. At a minimum the base needs to be tightened to properly secure. Floors are in terrible condition in the living area. There are several nails sticking up that stabbed some in the foot. In other places the wood is splintering and we had to remove splinters up to half an inch from other’s feet. It’s really a shame because the house was exactly what we needed and has a lot to offer but it’s not well maintained and led to a lot of injuries and frustration. We will definitely take another trip but not to this house.
