Il lungofiume della casa ha un grande ponte coperto di 52 piedi con posti a sedere all'aperto per far godere a tutti la vista. This property was perfect for our extended family stay this year. We loved the river kayaking and the beautiful outdoor space. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place for a large group

An absolutely terrific home for multi generational families. We could not get the grandkids out of the river! They spent hours playing in the water and greeting kayakers. The home is so well stocked with water toys, kayaks, vests and of course the kid favorite was the outdoor shower! Shout out to Jodie the property manager. She was a delight to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. Best vacation ever!

Our group of 3 families (10 total people) were very comfortable here. The kids loved swimming in the river, the teens enjoyed fishing, and the adults liked watching the kayaks go by. The location is great! So close to town and shops! The outdoor space here really is special. The house had pretty much everything we needed. We hope to return in the future!

My wife and I had a great week with our 2 daughters, their husbands, and 5 grandchildren. Being right on the river we put the kayaks to good use and we really enjoyed the large porch.

We had an amazing week in Sleeping Bear Dunes staying at Crystal Jewel. Property was exactly as described and the outdoor area was even better than expected. Outdoor shower was awesome! Great communication with the host! Will for sure book this property again!

Crystal Jewel
Our family had a wonderful week at this home in Glen Arbor. It had all the amenities we needed for our large group and the outdoor patio facing the Crystal River is beautiful and so relaxing. Lots of space and very comfortable throughout. Close to town, the Sleeping Bear lakeshore and nearby Lake MI beaches. Would love to come back!

My wife and I rented the property for a week long vacation with my 4 grown children and 1 grandchild. The property was perfect for all of us. The outdoor space was wonderful. Plenty of seating and the fire pit at night really was great. The kayaks and launch space were well used.

Fantastic house and amazing location!
We had a fantastic stay at the Crystal Jewel! The house is beautiful and really has everything you need for a great stay. Kayaks, canoes, tubes to enjoy the river. The outdoor space is an incredible spot to grill out or sit and enjoy a coffee or cocktail and watch people float down the river. And all within close proximity to Glen Arbor which is the ideal jumping off point to explore all of Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leelanau County!

Communication with the hosts was prompt and superb throughout the process. The setting was wonderful for our multi-generational family group as the older teens could take advantage of the kayaks, the younger ones could fish in the river, and the tots could enjoy the clean, clear water outside with adult supervision. The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 13, and the outside setting was a great extension to living space. Location is excellent as it's close to all the Glen Arbor/Lelanau areas have to offer. Not a bad drive to TC either. Thank you to the owners for the welcome gifts!

Crystal Jewel was a gem!!
Crystal Jewel is a wonderful place, very accommodating for a large group, with “up and beyond” amenities!! Beautiful, peaceful, perfect location on the river!! (But w/i walking distance of the shops and restaurants, etc.) It was also perfect for all the ages represented in our family! We made awesome memories this week!!

This is a beautiful property, we absolutely loved it. From the spacious and comfortable inside to the amazing outdoor patio and shower, who could ask for more? Kitchen is well appointed with ample dishes, plates, silverware, pots and pans. Fire pit, bikes, kayaks, and corn hole, I could go on and on. Thank you so much!! 2021 Family Vacation
The house is beautiful and did everything we needed to have a great time. I think we should have been made aware of the sewer holding tanks beforehand. They were not a problem but we were all nervous the entire time. Then found out we didn’t even use one quarter of them when they were pumped.

All things considered, the Crystal Jewel is our all time favorite. While I would rate the others with 5-stars, the "Jewel" was a perfect match for all the things we enjoy. The owners have worked very hard to provide a first-class vacation rental experience . The cleaning was meticulous. Property manager Jodie, is simply the best. The deck, the river, and the outdoor shower.....Perfection. Lord willing, we will be back for many years to come.

Family Vacation
Perfect from start to finish! Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Home is spacious and had whatever you would need for a house on the river. Our 5 grandchildren had a blast with fishing, canoeing, swimming, tubing and biking and ping pong. The property is beautiful, private and literally on the river.

We really enjoyed our stay and accomodated a large group. The house was beautiful!
The manager, Jodi, was extremely helpful and always available to contact. The owners thought of everything from beach towels to grilling equipment, bags, puzzles, games, tubes, bikes, kayaks and canoes to make stay fun! We really enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the river, along with biking to town. The fire pit was also a fun activity with roasting marshmallows at night. The house, both inside and beautiful deck in back were very clean too! Also kitchen came very equipped with all your cooking essentials!

Outstanding property
Jodie was extremely helpful and the location amazing. We kayaked several times a day...just steps from the back porch. Home was well maintained and plenty of room for a large group. Close to Glen Arbor and all hiking and biking trails. Would love to visit again!

We had a Great trip!! Location is close to everything. House has everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful sites to see!! Sand Dunes to the scenic drives, hiking, visit to Historic Fishtown and the wine trails.

Calm Yet Adventurous
We initially rented this house for my 30th birthday party, with the intention of having 8 people. A few things happened and it ended up only being 4 people. This house was more than enough space. It came with kayaks that we used in the canal. We were so close to the Dune Climb and the Scenic Drive that had amazing views. Super cute little shops within walking distance. They had a ping pong table, which got used every night. We had a blast staying here. If we didn't drive 5.5 hrs to Glen Arbor to enjoy the views and the adventures, I would have been more than ok staying at the house. Everything about this vacation was much more than I even imagined.

Absolute gem!
We adored this property for an extended family vacation. The location is perfect for families with lots of sleeping room + easy access to the river for kayaking/canoeing into Glen Arbor + quiet/peaceful view + terrific great room + plenty of dining table room both inside & out + campfire ring for s'mores & backyard fun. We plan to make it a family tradition! Jodie was super helpful in advance and available during our stay to manage any needs, though we found everything in pristine condition. Look forward to many more memories made here.

Relaxation and fun with family
We were a group of 8 adults. The house had plenty of room for privacy and the 4 bathrooms were GREAT. The back porch was wonderful and HUGE. The morning coffee and afternoon reading (sometimes sleeping) were a wonderful way to relax. It was surprisingly quiet. We visited the lakes and Glen Arbor almost daily. The cabin was close to everything
The manager for the cabin was very responsive and helpful. The surroundings and the support made for a stress free and relaxing vacation.

Nifty Place
We had a great time in northern Michigan and this house made it possible.
The house is new or kept like new. It's roomy. Everything works. If you forget something, Jodie has it somewhere in the house. You'll love the hour glass.
The house is close to town by road or water. You could go get a pizza by kayak. It's on a quiet road.
There are water sport toys in the garage and yard activity equipment for just about everything you can think of. I especially liked the squirt guns.
The patio is beautiful with a firepit/grilling area and lots of room to sit and relax. We ate outside most of the time.
The best part is Jodie who is helpful, responsive, and just plain nice. She is intent on providing you with a good experience and she accomplishes it.

Great home, amazing property, lovely owner!
My family and I all agree, our vacation at the Crystal Jewel was one of our top two vacations ever! The owner, Jodi, was amazing to work with. She was so helpful and attentive. The property is beautiful! The setting on the river made for perfect mornings reading on the patio and evenings by the fire. We loved being able to kayak right off the dock (kayaks provided) and scoot into town for pizza by kayak! This is a big deal, considering people were coming from all around spending a fortune renting kayaks to kayak the river, and we could go whenever we wanted. My kids enjoyed playing in the river as it was shallow and crystal clear. The home was well-furnished and very spacious. Everything was either new or in great working order. The property was perfectly located for excursions to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Traverse City, and Frankfort. Glen Arbor is a very charming town. This truly was a delightful vacation and we will return!
