Hôtel Lucien

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely boutique hotel and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Highlights: -Prime Location: Located right in the 2nd arrondissement on a lively main street full of vibrant cafes and restaurants. It’s exceptionally walkable—you can easily reach the Seine and key central sights on foot. -Charming & Fresh Design: The hotel is set in a beautiful Parisian building with a classic winding staircase, but fully and beautifully renovated inside. They even installed a tiny compact elevator—it’s cozy (best suited for one person or a heavy suitcase!), but a huge and thoughtful plus for a historic building! -Comfortable Room & Bathroom: My single room was compact yet had plenty of space to be comfortable. Everything was brand-new, impeccably clean, and featured a large window with a delightful view. The bathroom was modern and very comfortable. -Lovely Atmosphere & Perks: The reception area is stylishly furnished with cozy sofas and seating. Starting the day with a simple, sweet French breakfast—fresh croissant, coffee, juice, and tea—was such a delightful touch. -Staff: The staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I have wonderful memories of my time here, highly recommend it, and sincerely hope to come back on my next trip to Paris!

The room was compact but perfect for what I needed, really clean, modern and charming all at once. The reception staff were terrific, always there, very welcoming and made me feel very safe. The location was great. So central and a short walk away from hubs like Rue Montorgueil.

There was construction elsewhere in the building (which did not disturb me in any way) but a protective plastic had been laid over the carpet on the stairs, which made them a little slippery and not a great look.
