The hotel is close to several event venues, so the location was very convenient for us since we were attending a wedding. Mision del Sol has been around for many years so it is pretty well-known around Cuernavaca, it was easy for us to Uber to and from the hotel.

The hotel is very expensive for what they offer, the room and bathroom were a little run-down as well as the facilities in general. The staff was friendly but not exceedingly so. Since they don't offer an iron in the room we had to send over some clothes to the laundry service and it took forever for them to iron a shirt and a dress even though we said we were in a hurry to get to a wedding. The restaurant offers ok food but nothing memorable and we had to wait forever for room service. Overall it's clear the hotel has seen better days but is still charging a hefty fee for sub-par services and facilities.
