Mad Vervet Backpackers Hostel

Well maintained hostel. Close to airport, city center is bit far from hostel. Taxi is cheap but I unused local bus or van you can find easily near the hostel but you must ask local people where and which way is towards city center. When you coming back from city to hostel can be difficult by public transport. I only use taxi way back to hostel. Rooms and bathroom are very clean but one thing you should to know, they changed bed sheet and covers after checkout but thick coverlet they don’t change or sometimes . This is I noticed that almost in budget accommodation everywhere in African country. If you bothered, better you have own sleeping bag.

The staff, location, and facilities were excellent for a budget backpacker. Staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Requests were met in a timely fashion.

Showers left a little to be desired--hot water was not really working well in one of the two used. No doors on showers made the floors slippery. Even a curtain could help mitigate this potential problem.

I had private room too noisy near to staff kitchen After I told them please be quiet 🤫 they told me use earplugs 😮 staff start noise at 7 am and my room next to the bar the music finish 2 am And I didn’t had private wc in my room the washroom for many people I was really bad about this situation And for buy water you have to go outside
