Absolutely stunning views, with one of the best sunsets. This is a lovely cottage with pretty much everything there for a great stay. The beds were comfy and spacious. Lots of space and fully equipped with everything you need (except tea bags!). Would have loved to stay longer but great location for Scafell Pike and great hiking.
Too many rules about what you can't do and what will not be accepted in notices and instructions everywhere. Perhaps a warmer and more gentle way can communicate the same needs. The shower leaked at the sides so needed to be extra careful when it's on. The bathroom could do with a little extra TLC. None of this spoiled the overall stay though :)

We had a brilliant stay here. The cottage is in an amazing location, beautifully decorated, and well-kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable, the place was clean, and the check-in/out process was completely hassle-free thanks to the great instructions provided. A huge thank you to the lovely, welcoming owners—we would absolutely stay here again!

The property was in the perfect position, close enough to Scafell to climb but also felt like we was in the middle of no where to just be able to relax. Being able to take in some of the views during a horse ride made it even better. The facilities were just what we needed and the beds were super comfortable giving us the best sleep.

The property cannot be faulted its well presented and beautiful views
First of all my wife is partially disabled and it’s quite a steep ramp to the property which isn’t mentioned for this property and there is no wardrobe in the property but was informed there are hooks by the side of the fridge but all the recycling bins are in front so are awkward to get to for her,also we we’re informed that the was a clothes rack for hanging our clothes on .we we’re up for a special occasion to celebrate my wife’s brother’s birthday for a few days so she had special outfits to wear for three nights but as I say no coat hangers and nowhere to put them except lying them on the spare beds .
