Breakfast was good but a little more variety would pushed it over the top.

The location cannot be beat. A small hotel on top of a Swiss mountain peak at the chairlift? How unique is that? The chairlift closes at sundown and the hotel is left to only the overnight guests. It is a unique Swiss experience. The young hotel and restaurant staff work very hard to make your stay a great one! The breakfast and dinner tables are pre-arranged by hotel rooms. This is largely a restaurant that functions as a hotel secondarily, but I'd strongly recommend staying here at least one night instead of at the base of the lift in Stoos Village. The view from the patio is breathtaking and they provide lounge chairs for each room to experience that. Also the chair lifts do not open until 9am each morning, making each morning very serene. Don't forget to plan your exit around the opening of the chair lift. Bags can be transported via Fronalpstock chair lift as you board Klingenstock lift separately to start the ridge hike and end it at the hotel.

Very small shower. Standard room. Nothing else to complain about. Hotel does not respond to emails or phone calls, which made the luggage arrangements more difficult. (Use the lift company's contact info and instructions instead.)

Location is at the top of a ski hill with a 360 view of the alps, where you can take in both sunset and sunrise, so yes, it is really good. Breakfast is quite basic, buffet only, so maybe take extra provisions if you are going for a long hike. Dinner was quite good and hearty. Staff super attentive and friendly.

The location and staff were great. The breakfast was okay, but I did expect a little more for the price.

There was a bad smell in the living area and hallway below the restaurant. Bathroom was tiny.
