Great location, grounds well kept. Walkway to beach almost new. Unit we stayed in needs deep cleaning. Cobwebs and dust on top of refrigerator and other objects, cooking pan was in terrible shape.

The condo complex was a great spot as an introduction to St Augustine and the area. We made use of a lot of the complex amenities, including both pools, the hot tub, the tennis & racquetball courts. The condo itself was a bit dated and less clean & taken care of than I would expect, possibly just due to the age of the complex itself. We were coming from a stay in Hilton Head so I had that as a recent comparison. Overall, we adjusted to the condo nicely and the property management company was responsive. The condo could definitely benefit from an investment in continued upgrades and maintenance to compete against other vrbo condo properties. Really enjoyed the beach and outdoor pool and hot tub! Also loved dining at Beachcombers and mini golfing, which was a short drive away. The Alligator Farm was a pleasant surprise - great for both kids age 7 & 9.

We had a few minor issues on the first day such as: (a) one toilet not flushing; (b) one bathroom fan not working; and (c) one blind fell down in the living room. These items were quickly addressed by the main office and repaired the next day. Also, the dryer did not dry the clothes even after 2 cycles. Overall, a satisfactory unit and a wonderful holiday!

The owner was very good about responding right away and allowing us to check in a couple of hours early. However, both toilets were leaking and in need of repair. Both showers literally drizzled water for a shower making it very hard to clean and rinse off. The hot water did not last long at all. The kitchen lacked in supplies like serving spoons and cooking utensils. The living room and master bedroom vertical blinds were broken. Was told beach chairs were provided but did not mention that meant beach chairs to tote all the way down the long walk to the sugar sand beach...and they were the 1982 style chairs...not lounge chairs. We had to buy our own from WM. Beach towels were not provided. I had to bring about 8 beach towels. I felt like I packed up our home to take it on vacation and that just isn't "vacation" to me. The property itself is very nice and has a lot of amenities which are very clean and well kept. The pool is very nice and so is the beach area....just very hard to walk on as the sand is thick and very soft and there is an uphill trot on your way back to the condo toting all of your supplies (chairs, towels, cooler, etc). The condo is in need of a lot of repairs. For the money I will look around at other properties next time or just a different beach in general. I do not like having to tote and supply our own beach towels and chairs. I can stay home and do that.
