The staff was really very friendly. The rusk we received a s a welcome gift was an unexpected pleasure . All the roads and area are clearly marked that makes it very easy to know where to go.
A place in the bathroom where one could put your stuff would have been nice.

Office staff was very friendly and easy to work with. Food was excellent, a bit too much quantity for the four of us. Could have gotten by with three servings for our group of 60+ year olds. If you have larger appetites or are traveling with teenagers, the portions are probably very good. Make sure you order the braai! Great braai setup and the meat and seasonings were outstanding! Quiet location. Beautiful sunsets. No city lights to pollute the sky with light, making for wonderful star gazing. Nice hiking nearby. House is old, but full of charm and character. Kitchen and dining rooms were very nice.
About the only thing to complain about is the long hiking trail isn't as well marked as it needs to be. We got off trail several times, taking us a long time to find the next white arrow. Some arrows are faint, and there needs to be a few more of them. But the hike was quite nice, with great views. Still worth doing, even if you do get off trail for a little bit. You'll never get "lost", as long as you don't leave the large rock complex and you keep the sun in a consistent location over your shoulder.
