The house is spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of storage space. The outdoor shower is a very convenient feature, especially when returning from a beach trip. We found the deck and patio relaxing and enjoyed making use of the grill for many of our seadfood meals.
We wound up using both the air-conditioning and heating systems, and they both responded quickly and flawlessly to all adjustments. With the length of our stay, the many cleaning tools made it very easy to keep the place tidy. We also personally appreciated the fully-stocked laundry room, since we found ourselves seemingly always needing to do a load of laundry.
The neighborhood is quiet and private, with no through traffic on Homer Road and lots of vegetation marking off property borders and private spaces. To us, the best feature of the location is the fact that it’s just steps away (in multiple directions) from various entrances to the Cold Brook Preserve, with its miles of well-maintained and flat hiking trails. Also it’s a fairly easy walk from the house to Brax Landing, the ferry terminal, Ember Coal-Fired Pizza and Sundae School Ice Cream.
The hosts Paul and Susan were very responsive, which was very impressive because during much of our visit they were away on vacation.
We're already looking forward to returning next year!

My husband and I were ‘2nd timers’ for this home so obviously we really like it. There is everything you’ll need for your stay and the location is very convenient to where we wanted to visit. Paul is very helpful and informative. You won’t go wrong!

This house was perfect for our 1st time visit to the Cape. The house had everything we needed to just plug in and start our vacation. The extras supplied by Paul and Susan made our grocery shop super easy. The location was central to everything we did including a day trip to Nantucket. We followed all of their suggestions and everything was perfect and smooth. We will definitely look forward to coming back again in the future and hope to stay here again!

The house was just as advertised. Perfect in every way. Most comfy beds we have ever had in a rental. Very well furnished and plenty of everything for the kitchen, baths, and bedrooms, (and more) that we needed. Special and much appreciated treats as well. The back deck and patio were especially lovely and inviting. Paul & Susan were wonderful hosts and now feel like friends. Hope we can stay there again in the future.

Terrific house with all the amenities. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating . The house was immaculate and very comfortable. We were close to several beaches. It's a great location, easy to get to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

It was well appointed and we loved not having to bring sheets, towels, and paper goods. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and meals on the back deck. The hosts were friendly and accommadating. We have had rentals that look big (wide lens are not VRBO's friend), but this house is more impressive in person. Really nice deck and backyard. We will definitely keep this listing in mind.

Great stay in Harwich Port!
Paul and Susan are wonderful hosts who are there to assist you through every bit of the process from booking the property to making you feel absolutely at home upon arrival.
The house was exactly as described and very well equipped with anything you might need. It was close to town and to the beach, which made everything very convenient.
Without a doubt we would stay here again on our next visit to Harwich Port

Great House for Family
This home is fantastic! The hosts are super communicative. All the amenities you’d have at home, close to downtown Harwich, and close to the highway to access the rest of Cape Cod. We’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing fall weekend
This property was absolutely amazing! It was even better than the pictures and by far one of the cleanest rental properties I have ever stayed at. Paul and Susan were great hosts! They met us upon arrival, showed us around their home, helped us find anything we may need, and gave us some ideas of things to do.
The location was perfect. One member of our party had been to Cape Cod before but for three of us it was our first time. We are all in our late 20s-early 30s. This location was central to everything we wanted to do. We even took the Hyline high speed ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket for a day trip!
All in all the house was warm and cozy, stocked with everything we needed, extremely clean and close to many restaurants, bars, and activities.
Cannot wait to return!

Wonderful home at nature preserve
We had an amazing time in Susan's and Paul's place! It is a wonderful property adjacent to a nature preserve and you can even do birdwatching from the deck! The house is equipped with everything you might need and especially the kitchen is exceptional! We very much enjoyed Susan's and Paul's hospitality and will definitely come back!
