Trillium Cottage, Family & Pet Friendly Retreat on Sand Bay Point in Door County
(Con una nuova proprietà a partire da aprile 2019 - precedentemente "Trinity Retreat" e un cottage di noleggio di successo su VRBO dal 2015). Trillium Cottage su Sand Bay Point dispone di 2 camere da letto, 1 bagno e 6 posti letto (o 8 con il castello che ha 4 materassi gemelli). Si tratta di un cottage per famiglie a pochi passi dalle acque di Green Bay. La proprietà ha una piccola vista sul mare ad ovest sebbene non sia direttamente sul lungomare. Si trova vicino alla bellissima spiaggia sabbiosa di Haines, a vari punti di accesso all'acqua pubblica e al varo, al Potawatomi State Park, al campo da golf Idlewild e allo storico Downtown Sturgeon Bay. Altre spiagge pubbliche di sabbia e punti di accesso pubblico raggiungibili a piedi / in bicicletta. In effetti, c'è un GRANDE punto di osservazione del tramonto a soli 1.000 piedi lungo la strada!
Il cottage principale comprende 2 letti / 1 bagno più piccolo, area soggiorno / sala da pranzo a pianta aperta con tavolo da pranzo full size, dieci posti a sedere. Cucina completamente attrezzata. Vasca e doccia full size. Letti queen size in entrambe le camere. Lavatrice / asciugatrice nell'area di servizio. A / C e calore. Internet. Asciugamani e lenzuola forniti. C'è una casa a castello accogliente recentemente ristrutturata per la capacità di dormire in più.

We traveled to Door County from Iowa to do the polar bear plunge at Jacksonport Wisconsin January 1, 2022. The property was as expected, no surprises. Everything was clean and well stocked. Plenty of blankets, towels, etc. the kitchen is well stocked and very easy to use. We really like to rent places that offer a kitchen, much more convenient than always having to go to a restaurant. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed the wonderful collection of CD movies provided. The sunsets were some of the best we’ve ever seen looking out over the water. I highly recommend this property.

Came for a quick trip during fall break with our two girls and beagle. It was the perfect cottage for our group to come back to and warm up in after some chilly days hiking and visiting shops. We will highly recommend to our friends.

This peninsula property is in a unique location. Enjoyed both sunrise and sunset views and great walks though the neighborhood. Cabin is cozy and had all we needed for a nice weekend away.

The cottage was location was good, but the biggest issue we had was the water supply. The well is a shared well with a neighboring property, and with a family of 6, we couldn’t take more than two showers without losing water pressure and having to wait for the well to fill back up. That meant no way to flush toilets, wash dishes or run the washing machine for a couple of hours at a time. It was very inconvenient. Nothing was said about the water supply until we received our welcome letter, which mentioned the shared well and possibly running the well dry.. If we had know that beforehand, we wouldn’t have stayed at this property.
