Stairs were steep ,but that’s what you get in all old Amsterdam properties,there was a lift but with all the Dutch fattening food you need to burn calories

The staff were excellent. Everyone was very helpful and greeted you when they saw you.
The hotel is ideally located for public transport and the museum district.
The staff provided coffee 24/7.
The beds are pushed against a wall and the mattress had become worn on the side you get in and sleep.
The mattresses need to be rotated to prevent wearing on one side.
When it rained the television didn't work.

Great location on a quiet street in the museum district and within easy walking distance to Jordaan. Room was value for money (“middle room”) and we managed with under bed storage or would have struggled with two cases.
I marked this down as the shower drain was blocked and there was mould in the extractor fan which was not working. The daily “clean” was superficial and coffee not replaced.
This should be a great hotel in a great location (we knew the room was smaller but we literally only needed to sleep there) but the attention to detail on cleanliness let it down.
