We really enjoyed our stay at the Parador. The building and its interior are absolutely stunning and were probably our favourite part of the experience. Staying in a former monastery gives the hotel such a special atmosphere and there are beautiful details everywhere.
Our room didn’t have one of the famous views but we still really liked it. It was comfortable, pleasant and surprisingly spacious. It actually felt much bigger than we expected from the description.
The only slightly odd moment was at check-in. It took quite a while to enter all our details and somehow I ended up being registered under a completely different first name… Nothing serious, just a bit confusing. Other than that, the staff we interacted with were perfectly nice, although we didn’t have much contact with them during our stay.

Liked the location and historical significance of the hotel. Best sheets I've slept in - cotton was cool and almost silk like! Rooms were spacious and well equipped.
I felt the courtyard could have been made more attractive with a little more greenery.
Stay was let down by staff, especially at reception - there seemed to be little warmth or interest.
Elevator is very small in comparison to size of the hotel.
Some more information about the history of the monastery would have been appreciated.

A beautiful old monastery located opposite the old city. The room was very spacious and breakfast was very good.
The staff were very unhelpful. They seemed inconvenienced by our stay. For non spanish speakers we could not recommend the hotel. The restaurant was also not that great.
