Uitstekende waterdruk van de douche en goed heet water.
Wifi was prima.
Goede over/magnetron.
Zeer vriendelijke service.
App contact is als zeer prettig ervaren.
Jammer van de ramen bij de tussen slaapkamer. Dochter kon door het licht niet eerder slapen.
We moesten best ver lopen met de bagage van de parkeerplaats naar het appartement.
Er was te weinig servies. Bijvoorbeeld maar 1 schaaltje voor yoghurt voor drie personen.
Het appartement was erg gehorig. We hadden best veel last van stampende buren.
Helaas maar 1 sleutel voor drie personen.

The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The hosts provided us with a high chair and cot for no extra cost. Great location. good recommendations for restaurants and activities.

We stayed in the Apartment for 3 night arriving on Fri 2nd June and were checked in in minutes by the very efficient staff.
The apartment is very high spec, very well equipped, very clean and well thought out. The WiFi is strong and more than fast enough.
The location is PERFECT in Alkmaar being less than 2 minutes walk from the main square and inside the pedestrian only zone.
It is easy walking distance the mainline Station and the local bus depot (we took the local bus to the seaside at Egmond aan Zee on Sunday, only €2.90 and less than half an hour ride)
All in all a WONDERFUL experience, I'd go as far as to say faultless!! Well done guys!!!

Perfectly located in the city center, very nice host, appartment has everything you need.
The family rents out several appartments. Ours did not have any windows in the living area. Furniture is nice but you cannot spend time there without feeling claustrophobic. Whatch out which one you rent!

The room was large and long which had a walkout to the balcony out back. It was very clean and basic with a nice walk-in shower. The location was great and central to get to the cheese market and dining.
That we did not find this place until this trip.

Great central location with parking, apartment was well equipped and we had a lovely stay. Catherine checked us in and provided loads of information on dining, places of interest etc.

Very hard to get to the room. You have to climb a steep stairs.
The ikea bed mattress was uncomfortable.

The rooms are recently renovated and look really nice and clean. Everything you need was there for you like a towel, shampoo etc. The staff was really friendly and helpful and they even gave us shuttle bus tickets to the festival for free. We had a great stay and would absolutely come here again when we need a stay in Alkmaar!
The only downside I can think of is that you have to walk a few hundred meters from the parking to the property because it’s located in the centrum of Alkmaar. But that’s also well arranged by the staff who navigates you from the parking to the property.

This is a very nice modern apartment in the walking district of Alkmaar. Staff was super helpful upon arrival. Met us and took us to the parking garage. Then escorted us to the apartment.

travelled as a family of 6 to attend football match in Alkmaar - Familie Hotel couldnt have been better - great communication, happy for us to get in early, lovely sociable owners, central location, very spacious and comfortable for 6 - overall a fabulous stay and hope to return soon

Very kind hosts and the appartment is very comfortable and equipped with everything the family needs. The only disadvantage is second floor without elevator. But for us it was ok. The location is perfect in the heart of the Alkamaar, which is so beatifull. With plenty of cannals, good restaurants, shops.

The location is superb; very central with a great view of the Grote Kerk. The parking was easy to find and close to the apartment. We loved the style of the apartment and being able to spend most of the day outside but pop back to change for dinner was very convenient. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The seagulls made a terrible mess on our car!

My friends and I stayed here for Liquicity Festival. The hosts were very friendly, they were welcoming and they allowed us to use the terrace during the day. The apartment was easy to find and close to the train station, the hosts contacted us the day before to give us more information about finding them. They gave us lots of information about the local area and helped us with a local taxi number. The apartment was incredibly clean and everything worked properly. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook breakfast each day. The hosts also had a lovely dog!!
