Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo

A very comfortable stay overall, with an excellent location and genuinely warm service. I arrived rather tired after travelling, and the receptionist gave me a particularly warm welcome. When she learnt that I was from South Korea, she told me that her best friend was from Busan and that her friend’s parents had moved to Oslo, which somehow developed into a conversation about Chuseok. It was an unexpectedly lovely way to arrive. The location was extremely convenient, particularly for getting around central Oslo, and I was very satisfied with the room and amenities. Everything I actually needed was there, the room was comfortable, and the hotel worked very well as a base for a short stay. Breakfast deserves particular mention. It was excellent: generous, well organised and genuinely enjoyable rather than merely something included with the room. After a long day of travelling and walking around Oslo, I was very pleased to find that breakfast required no further negotiation with the universe

There was, however, one small matter. The water pressure.

Location was great and the property was easily accessible

The beds. Our bed was stained, the mattress moved all night and there was no spare pillows

Nice hotel. Decent facilities.

Swimming pool, sauna and changing rooms absolutely filthy first thing in the morning. Hadn’t been cleaned up.

La posizione perfetta, centralissima. Il frigobar era vuoto, le lenzuola non pulitissime. In camera rumore della ventola in bagno assordante. Al chekin hanno sbagliato a darci le chiavi e una volta accompagnati sempre la scheda non era quella della camera. La colazione ottima . Ma un frigobar vuoto non si era mai visto. Ah dimenticavo. Ho provato a contattare la reception dalla stanza per il frigo...non mi hanno mai risposto.
