The location was very good, staff polite and friendly
I understand that the wing of the hotel we were staying at is some years old and a new wing is almost complete, but a few issues could be resolved. The stairs leading out from our room have no handrails, no lights and the gate at top of the landing is not secured. Again, I know the hotel is undergoing a major upgrade and it will be amazing, but our little comment is just stating that there are safety issues that could arise for someone using the stairs at night, that’s all.

Everything! Beautiful gardens and pool area. Breakfast was delicious too with plenty of options. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and well priced

We always love this hotel… and have been coming regularly for 20 years. unfortunately the extensive renovations impacted us a bit too much this stay as our room was exposed to the end of the clock where renovations were at their loudest.
The renovations!!! I was aware when we booked but not the extent. I was thinking that once we were in the midst of it that some offers could have been suggested such as complimentary dinners… visits to the spa etc. in the end I asked for a dinner and the staff were very happy to provide this, but maybe this should not have been on me to ask.
