Bay Beach Resort

Very friendly greeting by staff on arrival. We were lucky to be upgraded to a bungalow nearer the beach, which made the location fabulous. An easy stroll to the nearby street restaurants /shops and some lovely beach restaurants/bars close by. The manager/owner, Apple, could not have done anything more to ensure we were comfortable and happy. during our stay.

Our initial reaction to the accommodation was disappointment due to the basic level of the resort. However, once we settled in, the location far outweighed the standard of the room. The whole place felt tired and would benefit greatly from an update. We stayed for 10 days but feel the place would be more suited to shorter stay. Being close to the beach was great on one hand, but also very close to the neighbouring jet ski business, which could be quite noisy.

Everything. The location is unbeatable: a 7-Eleven is just a 2-minute walk from reception, and you'll find pharmacies, plenty of restaurants, and scooter rentals right next door. The beach is beautiful, and a 5-minute walk along the sand from the bungalow takes you to great spots for dinner and the fire show. The pool is much bigger than it looks in the photos, and the food at the hotel is amazing. The atmosphere is peaceful, ideal for switching off. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, with air conditioning, good wifi, and free bottled water every day. The room is cleaned daily and towels are changed. The sink area is really roomy, with plenty of space for all your toiletries, hair products, and fragrances. A special mention for the owner, who is lovely. She drove us to the ferry herself, free of charge. That's the kind of gesture you don't forget. I recommend it 100%. Thanks to the owner for putting so much love into her hotel and always being willing to help.

Everything is perfect

Great location especially on that side of the island. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had one of the beach fronts and it was everything I needed. Perfect if travelling alone or as a couple. Food is good with a stunning view.

Beach Access

Felt like I was being pissed on in the shower, just a dribble of water! Breakfast only opened at 8am and restaurant closes 8pm. Very old place, but the staff were very friendly. Also the TA Tours beware she is nice but will try to rip you off for something!!
