Kupu Kupu Barong Villas and Tree Spa

Very nice villas in a beautiful setting, with lovely views over the river. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature and away from the hustle, bustle and traffic of central Ubud, while still being close enough to enjoy the area. The activities were excellent — the rafting was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our stay. We also really enjoyed the trekking with a fantastic local guide who knew everything about the village and the surrounding area. Very good breakfast and a lovely spa. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay overall.

If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the area around the private pool: some of the fittings felt a little outdated, and the cleanliness could be improved. That said, having a private pool was a great feature that we really enjoyed.

Over looking Ayung river water rafting finishes rt at hotel . Great pool. Staffs are super polite smiling and friendly.

Very steep ( they do come immediately with buggy upon request) aged people got to be careful .
