Attentive, helpful staff who were so happy to make adjustments to accommodate an 8 week old baby. Staff were also quick to offer support in carrying luggage up narrow stairs, Every staff member we encountered were polite and friendly.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and bathroom had good quality toiletries,
Breakfast menu was good and evening meal very good.
Could not be helped and we were warned but narrow entrance to carpark. The Corn Mill carpark behind the hotel was a useful other choice.

Good location with free parking and the food was good. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
Mattress was a little soft for my back and some parts of the hotel feel a little tired…

Great position in town for access to shops and places of interest. We loved the old charm of the hotel with its quirky features and decor. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast and dinner were tasty and well presented in the lovely dining room. We paid to park in the public car park behind the hotel rather than in their own as that has a tight entrance!
Only that there’s no lift but we knew that before we booked. It’s not a big issue but worth knowing.

The town
Very run down, and dark. Very steep stairs to room. Floor in bedroom and bathroom very uneven.No restaurant available.
