Interactions with staff. This is the 5th time I’ve stayed here. The staff is so friendly and remember that I have stayed there before.
The rooms are dated, and the grounds look like a dirt parking lot. They put a lot more effort and resources into the restaurant side of the business. The hotel is almost an afterthought.

Room adequate, if a little dated but good value for money
Updating needed, but good value for money

We did not know it was a hungry horse next door. A bit too basic for us. There was also a hen night on. . We therefore ate and drank at a nearby pub. The Copt Oak . Part of the Marstons group.
A better pub/restaurant next door would’ve been ideal.
