Food exceptional . Staff couldn’t do enough really helpful and polite

We were in room 2 , room was lovely however being on the bottom floor the room above we could hear what we thought to b people walking/ floorboard noise on both nights this went on until 2am therefore a relaxing chilled break wasn’t ! We had to b up one morning at 6am as doing an all day hike and I hardly slept, the following night was the same I’ve come home so tired through lack of sleep 🥲 The extractor fan in bathroom banging most of night too, and the outdoor lights done into the window even with the blinds down because of the gap between blind and window ! Last year we were on a high floor away from the male toilet which backed onto the room so u could hear the toilet flush , it’s a shame as I love this hotel , the staff and food are fabulous .

Everything Brett and the team are exceptional

Nothing at all

Everything was wonderful, from the young man that greeted us at check in, everywhere was very clean and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfy, there was a mirror by a plug socket, hooray! The young lady that greeted us at breakfast was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, extremely tasty and beautifully presented.

We loved everything.

This is our third family visit to Ravenstone Lodge principally because this is one of the few hotels in the Lake District that restricts dogs. This is an important consideration as I have an allergy to pet hair.
