Hadley's Orient Hotel

Great condition and true to heritage style

Great hotel - full of charm. It's old and we loved staying here. They have self service free laundry facilities which were easy to use. The room was large and the bathroom pretty nice. if you like old charming places to stay you'll love this hotel. The staff were great - the breakfast was terrific. There are a few steps to navigate as you enter the hotel but the staff was so helpful - they took our bags from the car up to our room for us. Located in the center of town you could walk to places easily - the walk to the wharf was maybe 10 minutes. Very happy with our stay here.

We loved the location and the amenities at Hadley’s. The staff were very obliging and the rooms were comfortable. We also loved the history of the hotel and checking out Amunsden’s room. The rates were very reasonable and we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay.

As a return guest since 2020 we have always loved staying at Hadley’s as the location is perfect and until the last couple of months or so Hadley’s was our favourite hotel to stay at in Hobart!

Over the last year or so the standard of service and cleanliness has markedly deteriorated and so have the facilities as now the restaurant is permanently closed … it has now a depressing ambiance and not living up to its elegance and heritage status that was known for!
