Waterfront Southport Hotel

Perfect location and breakfast was lovely.

I dont know,cant fault it really.

Staff very helpfull , reception loveley and polite/charming . Spotless room very comfortable bed , fresh towels and linen , shampoo etc was a bonus , great location . Great value stay .

Stayed here twice this year , admittedley , the firs stay was much better than the first , the only reason , the buffett breakfast the second time was , slightly dissapointing , there was an issue we , were told that the hotel was experiencing Gas , problems , Hence certain things couldnt be cooked , so quiete a bit missing / unavailable . But this was Not the hotels fault . We still managed to get a few cooked items , but it has to be said , there is Ample choice of , fresh fruit yohurts , toast and preserveres . SO , not such a problem really , just took the edge off the second visit , slightly . The Only other issue , was at Breakfast , one couple were seated with their dog , and although the Dog was harnessed and in a dog pram . The couple were feeding the dog breakfast items and the dog was barking constantly . We werent very impressed AT ALL . we felt that Dogs . Under no circumstances should be in a restraunt environment , we are dog lovers , previously owned two dogs . But would never have dreamt to sit at a table , with my Dog . Sorry . Waterfront should adress this , bacause it felt unhygenic . And should STOP . But hey ho . Overall , two loveley stays at the waterfront hotel

Great location.

Not being made aware of the events going on late in to the night underneath where our room was located.

Staff were nice,location good ,room was clean .breakfast was good.

Thought 20 pounds a night was expensive for a small dog, the chairs in the restaurant were badly stained and also had crumbs on them and on the floor, the outside balcony area wasn't as nice as expected , the drinks were also very expensive, 16 pounds for 2 pints of beer .
