The staff were very helpful, when I had a bad back they arranged a transfer to another bedroom with a more comfortable bed. The breakfast menu offered an excellent choice and the food was very good. The evening meals in the restaurant were of excellent quality.
For me personally the bed in the Japan room was difficult to get in and out off because it was so low and on a platform. The bed in the room we will transferred to was very comfortable.

Excellent choice for breakfast, choice of cereals and both carnivores and vegetarian are well catered for with excellent cooked assortments.
Choice of yoghurt flavours and fresh fruit for anyone who wants something lighter.
Although the restaurant is pan Asian there are few vegetables with the meat dishes and the menu is very limited.
There doesn't seem to be a resident's lounge resulting in limited options for amusement.
Room 15, which is where we stayed is on the top floor, only accessible by a flight of stairs and no lift, room had no seating at all, only the bed.
No safe provided in the room for guests personal possessions, so valuables had to kept with you.
