A standard Ibis hotel. Everything was done to a good standard. Friendly staff, clean room with good bathroom. Very easy to reach by motorway.
Price was outrageous, but Bruce Springsteen was in town and so it was the same all over Cardiff. A little way out of the city - about 15 minutes by car or taxi with no good public transport options.

Lovely welcome at reception and we were able to check in early. Free parking is easy and seems secure. It was easy to find the hotel as it is part of a complex off the M4 which includes services. Several food options are there too. The hotel is relatively small. The bar / lounge area was nicely done out. Easy to get a taxi into central Cardiff.
The beds were a bit basic~ reminded me of a hostel, but still quite comfortable . Would have liked hand towels as well as bath sheets but for one night it was ok.

Spacious room with a comfy king size bed. Strong quality wifi.
Generally run down and in need of updating. Poor quality furnishings. Small TV. Housekeeping came in when I was still in bed.

The young man in reception was brilliant.

Tv worked. Bed wasn’t too bad
We didn’t have radiators working and had trouble with the tv. We froze all night as we didn’t get in until 2am. Had to use the hairdryer to warm up

Rooms were fine, bathroom good, reception good, staff friendly and efficient.
The surfaces in the bedroom were sticky and didn't feel clean. No bin in bathroom. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Self service which was fine but had to ask for items (no forks/no eggs etc.)
I chose this location because I wanted somewhere quiet. The location was quiet but the inner doors of the hotel were noisy .

When I booked I booked breakfast but had to pay £48 extra, not happy, there were no biscuits in the room, no sofa or chairs, English breakfast was bland and cold, we won't be staying again

Very pleasant staff, day and night.
The toilet flush stopped working after 1 use. The room was quite hot. A car alarm kept on going off night time, early morning and late afternoon. Not sure of that was a staff members car or a patrons but very disruptive as woken many times. 0

Good value for money - secure parking - great location for us.
Could have been cleaner - while looking for a plug point by the bed there were old tissues not cleared from a previous guest. No usb ports in the room.

had to change three rooms as there were issues with light in one, bathroom in another. But staff was good and facilitated change Mattress was OK.

Disappointed to find rooom was not up to usual standard of cleanliness, I have stayed here many times before and was disappointed to find rubbish in the room, I notified front desk and housekeeping did vaumn the carpet and move the beds into a better position.

location and friendly staff. Night porter did deliver extra pillows at midnight when we asked for them which was appreciated. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast very good value.
room was dirty and grotty. We didn't get into our room until midnight( our own fault) , by which time it was too late to complain to the night staff
