ibis Hull City Centre

The usual greeting by the reception staff and how they ensured I knew every aspect of my stay. I also liked the fact, due to my mobility issues, my message to the hotel when booking a room, meant they were able to accept my request for a specific room which I try to stay in when I visit the Ibis. I was granted this room, which was perfect. It's also a quiet room away from the main areas of lifts and staircases.

I can't think of anything other than when I went out for a cigarette, upon returning, I think it was room 14 or 16 and the smell of weed was overpowering. This meant that whatever actions these cretins took, didn't make the alarm go off. For disabled people such as myself and for those who respect and follow the rules, those smoking drugs where it is forbidden, had no thought for the other guests who may have needed to be ecavuated had there been a smoke alarm set off by their totally selfish behaviour. Go outside the front door if it's that necessary. I know there was at least 4 males in the room, as I heard different voices. I know there were females at the desk at check in, so alerting them would not have been fair, so informing the hotel staff seemed futile. It will make me think of my next visit and whether I will stay at this hotel.... Which is a great shame.

Parking very close and very cheap, beds are very comfortable. Staff lovely
