Hotel de Neuve by Happyculture

Location, The staff were excellent. There was always coffee and cookies available in the lobby, and the breakfast was really nice. The room was small, as is often the case in Paris, but the hotel does have an elevator.

The location is great; it’son a quiet street in a lively neighborhood with quick access to two metro stations. It‘s an easy twenty-minute walk to Notre Dame from the hotel. The staff was very friendly (they politely tolerated our defective French), and the continental breakfast offered an ample selection of items with which to start the day.

I knew in advance that the standard double room would be small, but the room would benefit from having a small chest of drawers for underwear and casual clothes in addition to the armoire.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bed was super comfortable.

The walls are extremely thin. You can easily hear noises from other rooms, including people just walking on the floor!

The location was good. We reckoned it was a typical hotel in Le Marais.

Well... we gave up with breakfast on the first day (even though we had paid for it) as the queue for the three tables was so long and that was after climbing over the luggage to get from the lift to the breakfast room/lobby - a Health and safety nightmare!! Pictures of the breakfast room were deceptive - it's the lobby. We wouldn't bother with breakfast again. We could see the staff tried their best in very difficult circumstances so we didn't complain. We gave up with the wifi as that never seemed to be working and bought esims instead. Room was very small for two people.
