The position close to the subway, the forniture, the mattress, the shower, the spaciousness of the room, the breakfast schedule and the offered products (improbable maybe, but it was ok)

The temperature in the room way too hot and no support from the staff when we asked to refresh a little the room (usual annoying answer: "yes sir, we will take care immediately", and we sweated like crazy every night. The impoliteness of the cleaners who - on the checkout day - kicked us literally out of the room one hour before the contractual checkout time. The reason was that they were in a hurry and we needed to free the room. I've asked to respect the contractual schedule because we needed still to use the room, but they pushed the kids out when I was in the parking to load the car. This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable for a brand like Accor-Novotel. The scarce preparation of the personnel during the fire alarm rang at 4am: all the guests were outside of the structure and nobody came to instruct and address people. This impreparation during an emergency is very concerning: it made me think that the personnel is not correctly trained or that they don't follow the lessons during the emergency training. The pillows: it would be time to provide something in memory foam for a 4-star Novotel belonging to Accor. Comfort should be cared more (for instance with the mattress they did a great job)
