Lovely clean and well located for the old city. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Typical Mercure standard.. Our little dog was made to feel very welcome.

Bacon eggs and sausage breakfast wasn't the best, especially for the price., but other buffet items were very good.

The saving grace was the hotel restaurant- stunning place, lovely good and attentive staff.

My Privilege Room was small and dark with, I would say, that smallest window in the hotel. I was forced to choose between suffocation from lack of air and noise from rowdy guests and traffic. Two nights of bad sleep resulted. And paper cups??? A handheld shower in a Hotel with 4 stars??? Incredibly disappointed. Just too expensive. By contrast I stayed in the Célestin Spa hotel in Vichy on the 18th - around 150€ for a huge room, full of light, a large terrace and a huge spa style bathroom - and access to a pool. Incomparable.

Very professional, friendly and helpful staff, restaurant in a unique setting with exceptional service and exquisite (local) cuisine for diner and breakfast, rooms are on the small size but well designed, clean and fully comfortable.

Parking facilities are bit pore when the restaurant is busy

It was very hot so the AC was welcome. A very attractive building. Friendly staff. The gardens are lovely and a good place to relax after we'd eaten in the restaurant.

There was a kettle but not much choice with the tea/coffee. Only 2 little milks provided therefore only 2 drinks made. Could have been more generous with this facility. The room is quite small, a table and chairs were provided but placed in front of the dormer window so we couldn't easily look out of the window.
